Bottlemart Express - Ravensthorpe Palace Motor Hotel

My partner and I came in for dinner - the parmi was actually okay, we also ordered a medium surf n turf which came out well done with some suspicious looking and smelling seafood on top.

Asked for a takeaway container after seeing 20+ people walk past with one and was promptly told by the manager that they don’t partake in taking hot food home to your dog, which is an interesting way to run business considering the cost of living crisis we’re currently in and how many people are starving…

As another reviewer wrote below, we were graciously gifted some alfoil and a spiel about how they haven’t given takeaway containers away for 15 years. We chose not to take the alfoil.

Turns out the manager did us a favour anyway as my partner was up all night sick.

The lemonade was great.

Just had dinner - porterhouse steak, chips and salad. Steak not cooked medium rare as requested but it was a good piece of meat so still tender. Good chips and nice salad. Thank you.

We dined here for 2 nights and I must say the food was great. The parmas and pizzas are yummy. We had some strange attitude of one of the lady bar staff not really smiling and sour both nights. At one stage I stood at the bar trying to purchase a drink while she chatted to a local for a good couple of minutes blatantly ignoring me.

Then on the last night, I ordered 2 meals, and requested another plate only to be told that it would be $10 just for a bare plate. It was the manager that was taking the order. Very weird thing to charge for, and basically put me off what would have been a great dinning Experience.

He put me up when no one else would there was no rooms or accommodation available no were in the area.

This is an amazing outback hotel. Seriously great food, comprehensive menu, prompt and friendly service, and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a small country town. Just tremendous atmosphere. My wife and I absolutely loved it, and can thoroughly recommend it.

Often stay at the pub when away for work, everyone is always super friendly and they provide very nice meals

The garlic bread was cold, the service appalling. Won’t even sell a takeaway container let alone give you one to put your food in and I spent over $50. Brought my excess food home in a pre cut piece of Alfoil! Handed to me by hand with the poor excuse of saying for health reasons I couldn’t have a takeaway container, but all the other diners were walking past us with them! Apparently they haven’t been giving them out for 15 years but the previous meals I have been able. And this was from the boss! Crazy rules never going back. Very rude service!

Dropped in for a feed and a pint! Pint good, feed average! Had a parmy, it was okay lacking salad and imagination!

Mine site camp masquerading as a hotel/pub. Fine if your staying for work, would not recommend a stop with the family.

Meals were terrible.my so called Red Emperor was over cooked and had no flavour.my partner's $50 surf and turf (the steak was no thicker than a steak sandwhich steak.and was tough). Chips were nice but.

Chicken burger that made we want a food coma. Juicy and just good food. Stop here for a feed and enjoy the rest.

Didn't stay but I have to say I have had alot of chicken parmigianas in my time and I'm a tough crittic but the the one I have had tonight is the best I have ever had thanks for brightening up my night yumyumyum

Service very tentative, rooms are cosy next door and always good food but the cold meats for lunch wasn’t the best

Accommodation up above the pub is substandard to say the least, not enough showers or toilets for the amount of people and when it's noisy and U work a 12 hr day and ask for them to quiet it down you get laughed at.

Food was what brought us back again. We stopped at the free camp, came for lunch, decided to go for dinner as well.

It's not very nice having the cleaner burst into your room before 7am when you're still in bed asleep. It adds insult to injury when she comes back 20 minutes later to ask when you'll be leaving. I have never experienced such rude staff in my life.

Every night the place is swarmed with what I guess are miners working in the area. It's not the best having them drinking outside your room at night and having your room smell of cigarettes because they're smoking right beside the vents.

The "Restaurant" has the feel of a canteen and the pizza was greasy and flavourless. Couple this with one of the miners mentioned earlier loudly belching as he walks past your table and it isn't the best dining experience.

Upside is the rooms are decent.

Friday night happy hour barmaids not happy full price for happy hour drinks even when asked about happy hour.

Love this pub.stayed in there accomadation on the side of the pub which have just been refurbished. Have your own toilet and shower and new washing machines available. Jacko and mick are great people with jacko bending over to make our stay great.i didnt have a bad meal here and salad bar is fresh with plenty to choose from.recommend you try this place on the way through.workers come in from 6pm onwards and gets a little crowded when chase the joker is on thursdays.
