An amazing experience you need to try for yourself. We went as a corporate group for our christmas party which was a surprise to some but everyone had an amazing time. Boshack is pretty luxurious for being in the outback with just your basic needs. Chrissy was amazing and so kind being i was 29 weeks pregnant but she made me feel cool with all the sprinklers, aircon in the main dining room and fans in the bedrooms. And when i came back to Perth i couldn't eat much for a day or 2 because we were all so well fed with delicious food. The grazing board was incredible! I loved seeing all the animals floating around and it especially made me laugh having a peacock watch me shower from the tree haha. And Ash was such a beautiful dog who we all wanted to take home with us. Will definately be back with my own family one day:). Thanks for having us & giving us the outback experience we all desperately needed!

Spent 2 nights at Boshack, host was very hospitable in making us feel welcomed. Program and meal times were clearly communicated. Program and farm tour was very thoughtfully planned out. There was activities that included building a shack out of branches and a talk about grub eating. Night walks to see animals was a highlight with the kids. Ash the dog was also a hit with the kids. Meals provided were delicious, generous and the deserts were a pleasant surprise. Rooms were a bit sparse and en suites a bit chilly during showers. Owner who stays on site was very friendly and made it a point to make sure all the guests feel welcomed and taken care off. Thank you all for the great get away!

I recently attended a two day Women's Retreat at Boshack and had the most wonderful time! Chrissy is so welcoming and took care of all our needs including my dietary requirements, nothing was too much trouble. She also has a vision and plans for making everything even better than it already is.

As a country girl it was like a home away from home but much less busy. It was a welcome weekend away unplugging from the world and reconnecting with self and all the other amazing Women who attended.

Highly recommend staying at Boshack Outback for any occasion

I work with a company who support people with disabilities. We were lucky enough to spend 5 wonderful days at boshack with some of our participants. The setting is absolutely breath taking, and the beautiful people who run the whole show made us feel so welcome. They organised some amazing activities for our participants, who learned some life skills and social skills. And the food was amazing. (Thanks Deb) being in nature and around such incredible people, was soul cleansing. Thank you. Will definitely be returning

Love the lake view, with morning geese, peacocks and ducks around walking pass by. The story about the farm and lots of other stories was a incredible experience.

Boshack is a magical place.it is not a 5 star resort. It is rustic. The rooms are so basic but they are clean and comfortable. There are flies and spiders.
Boshack felt like a detox. We put away our devices and we just immersed ourselves into nature. It absolutely exceeded expectations. My two kids (2&4) did not want to come home which is surprising because there is not much entertainment other than nature. Crissy, the owner, did bring us on tours and we fed the animals (geese, horses and alpacas) and we checked some nets and played fun games which was lovely but the best part was just the nothingness. I haven't been anywhere like boshack before.

Grant is such a lovely man and made us feel very welcome. He showed me the different constellations one night over a g&t. The stars out there are just breathtaking. The lake is also beautiful and you have free use of the boats. I took a boat into the middle of the lake and just lay there for a half hour and tried to implant it into my memory as I really felt a sense of peace I never felt before.
My advice is to book this if you are after a bit of soul nourishment and a break from reality and technology.
The meals are plentiful and often but bring some favourite snacks and drinks as this place is completely off the grid and there are no local shops. My 4 yo is a fussy eater and grant was lovely enough to cook up some of his favourite things that I brought. They left snacks out for the pickers (tea, coffee, toast, noodles) and they supplied all the condiments (I brought tomato sauce unnecessarily).
Get a room with a ensuite. The showers are like barrels where you can look out over the lake as you shower. It is daunting at first as i felt a bit exposed but its an absolutely incredible experience. They provide the shower gel. Just bring your shampoo and conditioners.
Bring some good closed toe shoes or wellies if you have them as the walks are through swamp.
None of us got bit by mozzzies as we used mozzie spray. Would reccommend you bring some.
Bring extra clothes for the kids and let them just get dirty. Also bring a few activities. I brought kinetic sand and some board games.
It was an incredible experience for us and we will be back again.

The place is awesome, cabins are very comfy and big, the location is awesome and the staff kind and profesional you can really see that they live what they do.

But the food is veeeery average in quality and the poor quantity for the price that we paid

I was a parent visitor to my girl's 3 days school camp. My first thought was, what a place! Who would not love lake Serene and Burt the peacock! Such serenity from a bustling city life. The staff was friendly and helpful. My girl got to canoe, feed and touch animals, trekking, star gazing. The things we dont do or get to enjoy in the city. Thank you Boshack for letting kids be kids, teaching them about nature and letting them enjoy them.

I really enjoyed the reset and calm of the location. The staff were very friendly. While the rooms were basic all the necessities were there. Hot showers when you needed them. It was a.great vibe to chat to the other guests and spend time in a beautiful location. There was limited service which is the perfect way to reset. I highly recommend watching the sunrise and sunset. Both stunning

Not a place to bring children below 4. No heater and outdoor bathing in the cold. Electricity out by 9pm.

Disappointed with the number of animals we met despite being a farm - only feeding horses and geese, and a resident dog. Bed linen to be set up ourselves + to wash our own dishes after each meal.

Not worth the money paid for per pax. Expected more with the price.

Lovely off-grid getaway place from the hustle and bustle of the city, to relax with the family or friends, enjoy nature, feed farm animals, canoeing, watch the sunset, go hiking etc. Staff were very friendly and kinds feel like part of your family.

My family and I recently went back to Boshack for the second time and once again, it was a fun and relaxing experience for us all. There is so much natural beauty to enjoy and plenty of activities to keep kids of any age busy all day.
We enjoyed participating in the farm activities again with the paperbark forest walk being a highlight for me. On this visit I was really able to absorb the peacefulness and energy that makes Boshack a one of a kind experience.
Our lake view cabin with ensuite gave us a few comforts whilst still being immersed in the natural environment.
The Boshack team go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and to get the most from the experience. Boshack needs to be on your to do list!

Not the usual farm-stay, but a rustic outback experience in newly installed fills-free cabins. The bucolic surroundings - beautiful lake, horses, water fowls, and a friendly owner-host who educated us on farm life made it a unique and memorable 2-night's stay for our family. The outdoor private toilet with a bit of open air brought us closer to nature and added to the authentic experience. Would love to come back again! For those who yearn greater creature comforts, B. Y. O preferred choice of snacks, wine, food for BBQ. Otherwise, the food prepared is also sufficiently delicious.

Boshack is one of the best camps we have done. The welcome is so warm. The cabins were clean and warm. The scenery is perfect. My kids had so much interactive fun, from fishing, feeding the animals, truck ride, boomerang throws, making a raft and building a fort. Many activities to bond as a family. Camp fire was great and I loved not having to cook and and having yummy food. My kids didn't want to leave.

The hosts were all super accommodating and friendly! Made sure we were comfortable and were enjoying the experience. View here was 11/10 and super beautiful during the evening when the sun was setting, and could see the sky was full of stars at night. Had a lot of fun experiencing the outback life feeding horses, building tents etc. Surprisingly the rooms were very comfortable and clean with hot water which was great in the cold weather. Would definitely come back again in the future.

Had a 3 night stay at Boshack and absolutley LOVED it! Amazing location over looking the lake which was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved the morning activities and can highly recommend the amazing food (10/10 for every meal I ate). Chrissy and the crew were amazing hosts and we would 100% return. Boshack for the win!

At the start of January this year I had the opportunity to get my husband, 3 adult children, their partners, my father-in-law and 4 of my grandchildren aged 4-11 together for a couple of day this only happens once every few years so is a special time for us no matter what, I arranged for all of us to spend 2 nights at Boshack thinking there would be something for everyone to enjoy out there, Boshack surpassed my expectations we all had the most amazing time and no one was ready to go home, as we were leaving we were all talking about when we'd be able to get back and the things we were going to do when we did. Cannot recommend Boshack highly enough for any age or any interests you'll love it.

5 Stars! We visited with an amateur photography crew and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed a meal prepared by Boshack which was fantastic and all sat around the camp fire. Nice lake for canoeing. Plenty of birds too. Most enjoyable.

Our farm stay at Boshack was more than amazing! My family, especially my children, had the best time. The owners were more than accommodating and went above and beyond for us. The accommodation was lovely and the addition to the sprinklers on the roofs meant that we were very comfortable even in the peak Perth Hills heat. A regular getaway will be on the cards for us no matter the weather! Cannot recommend Boshack enough. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out
