Body Logic Physiotherapy

Rory is clearly a very experienced physio, can't fault his knowledge or advice. However charging the full half hour ($95 > $83 with Bupa) when your face time with the physio is only 18 minutes, seen late and let out early is ridiculous, especially at this price point. Seen 5.37pm to 5.55pm for a 5.30 appointment.
Been offered a refund, but it is not about the money.

An outstanding physiotherapy practice. Incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and helpful. They are compassionate and engaging. In my case they are outstanding problem solvers who are teaching this old dog new tricks, retaining out bad habits and giving me hope where I had been feeling besieged and at a loss as to how to find my way forward once more. I am deeply grateful for having found my way to them and wanted to help and encourage anyone else looking for help to come here sooner rather than later. Professor Peter O'Sullivan and his team are as amazing as they say.

I have been to Body Logic twice: seeing two different physiotherapists for two different conditions. I would regard the treatment by both providers as exemplary in terms of knowledge, reassurance, advice, price and follow-up. Highly recommended.

Kevin, Physiotherapist was indeed very patient & professional. He walked us through the GLAD program. Credits should be given to Kevin and my compliments to 1 of the receptionist. She took pains to call my GP Bentley Family Practice to guide me through the steps to obtain a Care-plan change of Physiotherapist. Excellent services from all levels of support staff while we were there starting 1st April.

Rory is very helpful and my bad knees are getting gradually less painful. I tried two other physios before Rory, and did not see much progress. However, now that I'm coming here, I am seeing a lot of improvement.

When I first saw Kevin, I had been experiencing chronic back pain for over 5 years. Despite countless appointments and thousands of dollars spent seeing various physios, G. P.s, sports physicians and neurologists, and having MRI scans, injections, and medications, nothing had worked. By the time I saw Kevin, I was pretty much at rock bottom, the debilitating pain had taken over all areas of my life and I was just desperate to try anything.
After just one appointment with Kevin my pain was dramatically decreased and within literally days I was back at the gym doing exercise I had been unable to do comfortably for years. I came into BodyLogic with bad lower back pain, having already attempted to solve the problem through rest, stretching and the usual recovery techniques. As a high level, young athlete, I naively wanted a fast solution so I could return to my usual training and sport. I was extremely fortunate to be looked after by JP, who is an extremely dedicated, knowledgeable, and personable professional. He understood what i wanted and also asked very relevant questions about the history of the problem for a more accurate diagnosis. His care, knowledge and support was very helpful and productive and the exercises and instructions he gave me helped more than I ever would've foreseen. I'm in preseason training now and I can say happily that major back pain is a thing of the past for me, at least for now. I'm incredibly grateful to JP for his guidance and constant help throughout the past months, and would highly recommend his expertise to anyone with similar issues.

Based on many years of experience working with or around medical and allied health practitioners across Australia, it is hard to imagine a better physiotherapy practice than BODYLOGIC (Shenton Park). Most of my involvement has been with Dr JP Caneiro, senior specialist physiotherapist. JP is an exemplary professional. He is holistic and highly personalized in his approach to patient wellness and is genuinely caring and generous with his time. Importantly to me, in addition to his great depth and breadth of expertise, JP works hard to ensure he remains up-to-date with international research and best clinical practices.

I was a candidate for surgery with increasing and debilitating pain in my right Achilles. I was struggling to wear shoes or even walk. I struggled for years and one visit to Peter O Sullivan and my life is completely different. Can’t recommend Body Logic enough.

I have visited Body Logic a number of times now over the years for various issues. I have been treated by Peter O'Sullivan and Chris Perkins for musc issues and Chloe for women's health. I find the physios think creatively about the issue and look at the holistic picture. The approach focusses on treating and fixing the issue for the long term. Thanks Body Logic.

Told to return (standard I know) but with the premium health fund, I still only receive a small amount back, so this makes this treatment not an option. For perspective, Medicare offer the mighty $53 rebate for up to 5 consultations in a year.

I would love to see a study on physiotherapy price rises since private health insurance. It seems out of pocket expenses were less - without insurance.

I was disappointed by the treatment I received from reception and professional staff alike. Really glad I changed to a physio who got to the bottom of the problem and was professional in every interaction.

Friendly, helpful reception and very professional Physio fixed my problem and gave me exercises to strengthen the area long term. I would highly recommend this practice to anybody looking for a quality physio.

I saw Mike for my sore knee that had been nagging me for the last 12 months. I'm so glad that i checked in with him, because he got to the bottom of it and was able to give me the right exercises for my recovery. The results speak for themselves. I was seen by Pain Specialists, Orthopaedic Surgeons and other experts in my condition. For 27 years I have been asking why I was having so much pain in my lower back (which is not symptomatic of my condition). After seeing Prof. O'Sullivan and with ongoing support and treatments with JP, I have finally been given the answer and it took less than one meeting and for the staff alike to be attentive and considerate of my pain and see me as a person in need of help; rather than a long-term pain sufferer who needs to get on with her life. With this understanding I am beginning a new phase in my life, I am forever encouraged and supported (even when I take a step backwards) and would recommend Body Logic to anyone who wants to be acknowledged and assisted with any treatment/condition.
