Boddington IGA reviews
12Great little store.only needed to get ice cream and water and alcohol from the store but the staff were very friendly.we were there everyday for our supplies.
Prices are quite often more expensive on receipt than advertised. I find lots of out of date stock, also regularly selling stock at reduced prices that are upto a few months past 'best before' and days past 'use by' date.
I know its a country store but thing I've mentioned are unacceptable
Gone extremely downhill now. Food hygiene is continuously an issue with more than one person finding maggots in cooked chooks served here. Absolutely disgusting.
Prices are exorbitant. Single male, I never spend more than $50, bought stuff that was on special & still cost $75. Couldn't believe it. Will never shop iga again
Everything is insanely overpriced (multiple times the cost you'd pay in Perth). The fruit and veg is usually rotting or rotten, you get charged full price when something is on offer, you get charged for strawberries when you bought an apple, meat is often on its sell by date the day you buy it, and basics run out frequently. We rather drive a 200km round trip to go to a supermarket out of town where you can get edible food for a fraction of the price.
Really love the way boddington iga has upmarketed their store and have late hours so workers can get to the store, and they will get anything you request in. Wide variety of fresh goods at good prices,
Great little supermarket for a small town. Had all the basic plus some. Fruit n Veg was a good quality. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very expense place to shop and the service is pretty laid back better off heading to Pinjarra Coles
Decent supermarket, with all the basics. Fresh food section unfortunately underwhelming.more local produce would be good. Lots of staff restocking shelves, which seem to be low on normaly regularly available items, such as coke, bread, etc. Some good weekly specials. Room for improvement.
Great size for a small town. Lots of choices. Prices can't beat Coles overall, but the service is friendly and it is always best to buy local to support your own community.
Usually has what we need when we go down. Good to see that some variety of produce is being brought in. Biggest let down was service. Junior staff lady serving us seemed exasperated and not pleased at small requests for bags, for which she rolled her eyes at, and also for our request that hot chicken be separated from raw chicken after she had placed the two in the same bag. All in all, we left with a bad impression which is a shame.
