Boatshed Deli reviews
19The Boat shed, words cannot explain how I adore your produce, fresh vegetables, which is what we use for our winter warmers, cabbage soup yummo
Best food store in Perth, I always go here for a treat. The food is amazing and so much variety across the board.
Ordered a curry pie and chicken roll. Both were nice. Good variety of food. Prices are towards the higher side.
Unfortunately for the second time the veal was cow meat, very hard and tough to eat.
I recommend only Italian butcheries in Perth for the Scaloppine.
Boat shed is in a lane of it's own. It is pricey but you pay for the fine quality and service. If you go and complain that a boxed item is $6 less In another shop then you're in the wrong section. They have amazing fresh produce! Sea food and meat selections are fantastic not to mention there freshly made breads desserts and meals. Not only all that but there's always a happy staff member ready to help you out.
Great fresh produce (meat, seafood, fruit & veg, cheese and flowers) great variety, great ready made meals, just pricey.
So much amazing food! Some things are a bit pricey some as anywhere else but man how good is their food. Amazing
Prices have gone up in recent times but I gave it 4 stars as some of the staff there, two young females on particular, didn't seem to make the customer experience complete. I was at the deli and I was asked what I wanted. I requested some olives and feta cheese and the container was tossed back at me on the counter with a floppy wrist and an oil smears on the container.
On checkout, one of the check out girls just didn't seem to realise that if you work for an establishment that's reknown for some excellent produce, you have to at least play along with the delivery of service with a smile, whether or not you like the job. If you don't enjoy it, why do it?
But anyway, that's just my two cents worth. Two cents means nothing in the western suburbs anyway right?
Not a bad place for a quick lunch stop. Got a pre made ham & salad roll and some ploughman's buns. Asked for a cheese roll to be made up but staff said they don't make them up in the deli during the day.
This place is amazing! An eye gourmet delight in looking at everything! Cheeses, ready made meals! Fresh juices, fruit and veg, salsa, salads, meat, fish and wine
If I get rich I will shop nowhere else. Its beautiful. Food is exquisite and staff are adorable
Food and service is great, though the breakfast menu is often not prepared by 7am (apparently available from 6: 30am) so have to wait for it to be made, and have had salami shaved with the wrapper on a few times.
This amazing experience can come to Melbourne as is. Great experience buying close to restaurant quality food you can yake home and eat whilst your kids destroy something beautiful.
A home cooks heaven there is so much to choose from in this place! Amazing selection of breads, ready meals, truffel oils, cheese, deli meats, flowers and every other fruit and veg delight that you can think of. We always stop off here if we're in this neck of the woods to find something to treat ourselves to for the weekend. Must be Perths best gourmet shop? !
Sadly wasn't able to buy silverside or topside to roast from the butcher's maybe too difficult to do.
Very well stocked lots of variety.rather upmarket expensive but definiyely worth a look.parking a bit of a hazard.
The Boatshed is probably the best example of this trend towards "premium" delis that are becoming popular around Perth. Great hot food collection, lots of variety. Has a coffee station, which is always handy. Butcher on site, which is different, you don't see that anymore. Wide fresh fruit and veggie selection, despite the small size. All the products are top shelf, you won't find Home brand stuff here, and the price reflects the higher quality products on offer. This is not a place to buy the basics, unless your idea of basics is a bit more upmarket.
There is a large variety of quality foods available, however they can be a bit pricey. I have found that the pre-cooked meals available at the deli don’t seem to taste as fresh or nice as they used to about a year ago.
