After 20 years of getting my hair done, I’ve finally found my hair dresser match! Kelly is amazing, she listens and delivers every single time. She’s also a beautiful soul. I can’t speak highly enough of the girls at BoBlonde- from the apprentices to the senior stylists, to Jenny at the front desk- they’re all so wonderful… I always leave feeling very well taken care of and happy with the results.

Maddy always nails it. Today I asked to go super light (the lightest I've been in a long time) and I absolutely love it! Love this salon. Very relaxed atmosphere including those lovely massage chairs at the basin!:) Extraordinary friendly and competent service from Jenny at the front desk and I can be confident that the wonderful Kelly will always make me look elegant. So nice to deal with people who love their job.

I have been going to Kahlia at boblonde for more than a year and I always leave feeling amazing. She knows my hair and always does an amazing job. I can trust her to cut it and blow dry it perfectly every time. She always gives me great advice and goes above and beyond to make sure it’s what I ask for. The Bo Blonde girls have been looking after my hair for years, Ellen is fantastic! I trust her 100% with my hair:)

I have been to Bo Blonde three times, each for blonde foils and toner, yet only one out of those three times did I not have to return to fix areas missed or to re-tone. None of three times did I walk out happy with my color. Yet I returned because I enjoyed the company of the hair stylist and hoped that each time was a one off occurrence.

The third and last time I had to return for areas missed, that left me with a fringe that was a different color to the rest of my hair and chunks of hair underneath completely missed. The hair dresser seemed annoyed and slapped on some bleach to the large patches of hair she missed, this left me with patches of hair bright yellow with orange marks. She didn’t even bother to check it before I left.

While I had head in the sink waiting for more toner, I over heard an employee gaslight a customer when the customer exclaimed that the water was too hot and burning her, the employees reply to the customer was that she is just too sensitive, as she thinks the water is fine. I was shocked and sickened, I wish I said something then but I was too shocked.

I am not going to name names, as I believe it is the entire establishment and management that has led to this lack of effort and moral from its employees. The employees seem overworked and drained, hair styling takes effort and patience, yet customers are rushed through and it’s no wonder less effort is given and short cuts are taken. Value your employees, they are artists of hair and should be respected as much, over work them and drain their love of their art and the results will show.
