Highly recommended staying at bluehills. Fantastic for kids with animals to feed, pat and watch from your cabin. Amazing views and a pool overlooking Harvey dam.
Can't wait to stay again.
Thank you Farmer Justin for a wonderful stay.

Amazing views from our chalet patio - we could only stay a night, and we lucked out with perfect weather. Could see wild kangaroos and even an emu grazing off in a distance from our chalet. Beautiful grounds, extremely kid friendly. Our preschooler had a blast feeding all the animals (esp the bunnies and miniature ponies). She loved the trampoline and swing too. And the fresh eggs right out of the chicken coop were huge and delicious! No wifi or even any phone reception, but it was a great social media detox experience for us! Also, owner Justin is super chill and friendly. Would love to stay again on our next trip.

Very relaxing stay.i would love to come back in summer to make use of the swimming pool. The kids loved feeding the ponies, pig & rabbits.

Fun to feed the cows and bunnies and horses. There was a pig I think and a llama I remember the furry neck. We saw many kangaroos and it was fun to walk with a flashlight after dark along the road. And horse or something under a dead tree. And egghunt in the morning all around the place
that was a few years ago but I still remember because it was great

Lovely place. Very peaceful and beautiful views. Loved feeding the animals and collecting eggs. Daughter loved the pony ride. Spent most of our time swimming and exploring, as well as just having some down time. Chalet was lovely, my daughter and I would sit on the balcony and watch the animals at dusk, especially the kangaroos. Then we'd sit in the dark and watch the stars. Will definitely visit again, this time we'll go across to the dam and have a swim there too.

Blue Hills Farmstay became a highlight of our trip. The scenery was beautiful esp.from the gazebo overlooking rolling hills and Harvey dam. We were given a big bag of carrots on our arrival to feed all the animals in the farm and our son was having so much fun feeding the pig! However, what we enjoyed the most was actually the walking trail up the small hill at the back of our chalet. We were rewarded with tons of kangaroos waiting for us mid-trail. Of course, they hopped away as soon as we’re near but you would definitely find the whole pack again after you continue walking uphill. I practically never saw that many kangaroos in such a near distance before! Every morning you would wake up to find tons of kangaroos grazing at a distance from your chalet and every night you would enjoy the sky filled with tons of stars. We just love this place!

Place has priceless views, very well constructed, comfortable chalets and gorgeous entertainment areas. Kids have a large petting zoo of many friendly, furry farm animals! There's a cubby house and green fields and valleys to explore. This is a farm getaway that will not disappoint!

Very friendly owner and always eager to please. It doesnt have a lot of animals around the farm, but that said, they were more than enough for the kids and they loved the pony ride as well as feeding them too not to forget about the egg hunt. That was funn too.

Definitely recommended!

A wonderful stay with superior view of natural scenery and friendly wildlife.

Farmer Justin is great and friendly.
The chalet is clean and cosy, we love the freedom and the cows marching in the field at front of our chalet when sunrise, greeting us good morning
Everything is superb!
We really enjoyed ourselves during the stay.

Thank you Farmers Justin.

Had a week there with the wife and kids - had a great time!
It's a short drive to wine, cheese and dam, as well as a short walk to the animals. Mr 4 and Miss 6 had a blast!

Thanks Farmer Justin!

Great location, beautiful chalet with fireplace and great view.
Floor needs some mats or rugs or carpet as concrete felt cold on feet. No doormat to wipe feet.
Not exactly an authentic farm.mainly a petting zoo.but good for city slickers and families wanting to get a bit of fresh air.

It's remotely located and yet close enough to a town to get supplies. The chalets are lovely and the owner takes care of the properties. The farm itself is more like a little petting zoo. Great for kids and a place of solitude to get away. Data signal is sparse so be prepared to be cut off.
