Blue Dolphin Caravan Park and Holiday Village

Great location.walking distance to town. Facilities are adequate and clean.
I am left wondering what is happening to all the money coming into this facility as the place is almost full all the time.the place definitely needs some upgrading.

Great location. 20 meters from tge water. Right beside IGA however other end of town has a village shopping center and the garage further along has the cheapest fuel. I had ocean views from caravan.
It has cabins as well.

Was charged $40 for 1 night as it was just myself. Thought I was getting a good deal till I set up camp for the night.
I checked in at 3pm and went to the bathrooms- they were closed for cleaning. I waited and waited till it got till 5.30pm. I went to the office and was yelled at from a distance “ WE ARE SHUT WHAT DO YOU NEED” I asked when the bathrooms were open and they said oh they are shut as we are painting. They pointed out that the other bathrooms were open- which are about a 100-150m walk to get to. Would’ve been nice to know 2 hours ago.
Finally, time for a shower. First off, the door doesn’t close so anyone off the street or animals could walk right in. Anyway. Walked in. Mould, all over the shower, all over the shower curtain. Cigarette bud in the cubicle. Absolutely disgusting. I am disgusted that I now have to walk 100-150m in the middle of the night in the pitch black. If would nearly be quicker for me to walk to the public bathroom on the Main Street, which has a door that shuts and street lights to light the way.

I enjoyed our stay great location nest and tidy friendly, helpful staff would definitely stay again.

This has got to be by far the worse caravan park in all of Australia. The owner is the rudest person I’ve ever come across. Using disrespectful language towards guests is not appropriate

Our camp site itself was great however the owners took it upon themselves to have a domestic around 11pm after a night on the drink. They were arguing, smashing things and making as much noise as possible for about an hour and a half at which point they thought they’d put on some music for the whole caravan park to hear.
If you want a good nights sleep I recommend a spot as far away from their private residence as possible

They have to be joking at $48 a night. The place is a dump and a quick walk into the showers will explain why they are the only one in town with vacancies. Please save your money and go elsewhere. They are a disgrace to WA and Australia. Those giving more than one star have to be the owner’s. Look at the pictures. The only place you will come out dirtier than what you went in! DISGUSTING!

Paying 50$ for a night in this camping is definitely a joke.

Has to be the most profitable camping in AU because their investment on the facilities and area are less than minimum, and the price is higher than any 4-5 star camping you find.

It had to be illegal to charge this money when you have things in that conditions.

Make yourself a favour a try to book anywhere else. If you can’t, well be ready to pay 50$ just for water and electricity.

Denham is a popular destination but even though that they shouldn’t charge you 50$/night when the caravan park itself and the facilities are so basic.
They don’t have a common kitchen and there are no dryers in the laundry room.

The sites for the caravans don’t have grass or concrete, so they don’t need any maintenance.

I don’t think they charge you a fair price once you realize the little maintenance they need to do in this caravan park.

Chalets were clean and comfortable

We called the caravan park just hours before and we arrived there out of office hours but Jas or Jay the manager went out to see us and met us on the entrance area warmly. We are a small family travelling without so much butane left for our camp stove but this camp ground was so good for us. They have a great bbq area with stove and tables, chairs with cute colourful lights. We were able to plug our camping fridge without hassle. The area is so clean especially the bathrooms. We paid the next day when the office opened. We would definitely come back with other family members. They also have some brochures of what you can go around and see in Shark bay area. Worth recommending.

Lovely caravan park, very well maintained and the services are super clean and bug free! The sites are very large and spacious also. We booked 2 powered sites last minute and the site managers were very friendly and obliging! Close to all amenities just a short walk away, when we looked to book for a second night, no issues! Would definatly recommend staying here!

The toiled could be more clean. Installations are a bit old. But overall was fair for the price.

The park is very basic and the owner needs to put some serious money into it. The managers Julie and Les can't do enough for you. Great managers.

We stayed 28th sep- 2nd oct in basic cabin 5. Cost was 400 total for our family which we found quite reasonable. Very good location. We walked to IGA, bakery, jetty, beach, pub ect. It would be nice if their was a bbq area and playground with shade. No oven in the cabin but i cook top, microwave, toaster and kettle plus a fridge and we managed fine with what we had.
It is quite old but it was clean and suited us fine.
We did however get some suspected bed bug bites and i have notified the manager.
We found the check in and check out process great:)
Manager even took me and my son for a fun buggy ride!

Very nice caravan park, excellent position, beautiful view, very clean ammenities, owners are very nice, helpful, and always smiled, and in good mud. Wanted stay 7 nights, stayed 15 days. Stay 7days, paid 6. Highly recommend this caravan park. Benny

We were last minute bookers, but the manager was very helpful and found a spot for us. When we arrived our spot was a bit too small; however, the manager quickly found us a spot in their personal area. Amenities are old but functional; hot water in the showers. Managers very friendly and happy to chat.

Best caravan park in town. New managers awesome and very very clean amenities. Recommend this park
