Nathan really makes sure everything is top notch awesome. Food, coffee, atmosphere, service, great staff. Blake street has it all!

Simply awesome. Lovely food, friendly service, reasonable prices and ample parking. The space itself has been beautifully restored & refitted achieving that perfect intersection of deconstructed/'shabby chic' and industrial-modern styles. I will definitely be back and will recommend the Blake St Merchant to my local friends.

Have visited 3 or 4 times in past 12 months & thought it was time for a review. Good food, even better service in a real cozy atmosphere. We like that they are prepared to try small things to change their food such as their own homemade tomato chutney. Of course, the food itself tastes that much better as their service is so friendly and warm. If not busy, they will have a chat with you and if you are extra nice, they may even give you their homemade chili sauce to try which is MAGNIFICENT. However, keep it a secret so there is more for me. Well worth a visit or 3.

Came in for lunch with my family on Father Day for the Bottomless Lunch, the food was AMAZING! We all really enjoyed the beef ribs.very generous servings and plenty of free flowing prosecco all afternoon.

Coffee here is fan-freaking-tastic, and the decor and service are great. The food is fine, but nothing overly wow. Still a solid option for a coffee and low key breakfast.

Like walking into a modern take on a lounge, stepping into the Blake Street Merchant is a comfortable entry into a quiet space where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a meal, cake, or a sandwich.

The rough wooden floorboards add to the charm that is complemented by soft furnishings, booths, or a table, depending entirely on your mood.

Service is attentive without being stifling and the food I had was served hot and fresh at a reasonable cost.

There's also verandah seating, although during the heat of the day, the airconditioning is attractive.

Parking is a little odd. Next door is a massive parking lot, but it threatens clamping and fines for anyone who dares stay over 30 minutes. It's unclear if the lot is intended for a shopping complex next door, even though it shares the wall of the restaurant.

There is limited street parking if you're not keen on braving the threats. I know I would have overstayed my "welcome" if I'd parked there.

Worth checking out.

Blake Street Merchant has a cosy atmosphere and is a licensed premises. I was just here for a gathering after a funeral so no photos or ordering from the menu and I can't say what's normally like. But the owner and one other staff member did a great job of looking after everyone. My coffee was fairly good and that's high praise from me. Definitely want to go back and check it out

Went for lunch and had a delicious broccolini and steak. Fantastic coffee, excellent staff and reasonable prices.

Came here for a meeting one day and came back for brunch a few days later. Really lovely service, very considerate staff and the meal was yummy (had the potato hash and a coffee). Parking is east, the atmosphere was light, airy and open but not loud or annoying.

Really lovely out in the verandah yesterday, the salads, and the mushroom toast, were all fabulous with the cold green tea, yummy.

Service, coffee and the food was exceptional! Would highly recommend this gem of a place! Will 100% be back

A neighborhood favorite. Excellent breakfast (get the mushrooms!) and great lunch options. Their monthly supper Club is a steal at $45 per person - with exceptionally generous servings - don’t eat lunch that day! Takes bookings for breakfast which is a real plus as many cafes don’t. Highly recommended.

This place is just down the road from my house and what a little hidden gem!
Friendly service and a great menu, you can even order a drink (of the alcoholic variety).
Nice venue fitout too, love that this is my local coffee shop, couldn't ask for better.

It was the horrible lunch ever, waitresses are kind but the food is not eatable, I ordered chicken salad for my lunch, it took about 30 mins and even it was awful. The kitchen staff doesn’t know what slaw salad and was disgusting

One of my favourite cafes in North Perth with friendly staff, a great selection of food and good coffee. They use Milk Lab almond milk and make s mean Soy Chai Latte.

They serve mimosas for breakfast and I could have been more happy, breakfast was great and one of the owners came and had a chat about how they have bees and produce honey.

Nice place for a meal. Good prices.

Good access for people with mobility issues.
