Black Stump Gallery reviews
23You can easily find Emma's artwork. I purchased an art tile depicting a camel ride for $45. I was very pleased to have my picture taken with Emma herself. I highly recommend this place.
Really lovely place to view artist work - including paintings, ceramics, sculptures and jewellery.
What a magnificent gallery supporting local artists. Very friendly, helpful, happy owners and staff. Will continue to take my visitors there on a regular basis.
Friendly staff, interesting building and have some great art worth a look if you're in town
Great little art gallery which sits between Matsos and the Mangrove Hotel. Owners very friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.
Loved this gallery. Quality Australian Artists, the works are diverse yet representative of the region. Wonderful!
Stunning exhibition of art, if I had wall space to hand some of those pieces omg I would have felt like I had died and was in heaven. Judy's work was insane
Superb work in this gallery. Thank you to Simon and Emma who welcomed us in and spent time talking with us about the artists and locations. Would recommend this as a stop to anyone who finds themselves in Broome looking for high quality pieces worthy of acquisition.
Suzy French legend! Cant wait until I'm financial enough to be privileged with one of her incredible pieces!
I have a commission piece on the way and purchased a stretch canvas. Emma and Simon were extremely knowledgeable as they are well travelled around Aus - even got a cheeky fishing spot from them!
Absolutely loved this place Quality original paintings and lots of other stuff all original works Art on glass, carved boab nuts etc Easy to wander around and marvel at the talent Very fair prices too 10/10
This place is amazing. Love the collection especially Emma Blythe vibrant artwork. We purchased 10 of her prints as we couldn’t decide which ones were our favourites. It’s a must place to visit in Broome. We had a privileged to meet Simon and gave us some insights on how Emma gets her inspiration from. Looking forward to seeing more of Emma collection. Urika & Ze
I was so excited when I booked my trip to Broome and to go and visit the gallery that I’d heard so much about. Emma and Simon have created an art gallery with amazing art and gifts from local artists as well as Emma’s art which is so vibrant and colourful. It is certainly a must see when you are in Broome and you may even be lucky enough to meet the couple who have created it.
We visited this gallery on our recent trip to Broome. It is a beautiful gallery with some amazing art works. We were lucky enough to meet Emma Blythe, one of the artists with works on display. Absolutely lovely. I purchased one of her cushion covers for my lounge. Well worth a visit.
Impressive display of art - a range of larger "hero" works as well as smaller "momento" prints all capturing the beauty and vivid colours of the region. A welcomed addition to the Broome tourist precinct and certainly worth a visit while in town.
We had the pleasure of finding this stunning art gallery on our stroll up to Matsos! The owners are fantastic- knowledgeable about art as well as everything about the Broome area. Emma Blyth is not just a brilliant artist, but a lovely, welcoming and hospitable woman- after calling in several times to browse through the beautiful gallery we left with our very own Judy Prosser watercolour- a very special momento of our beautiful time in Broome! Thank you so much Emma and Simon! You are gems and Broome is so lucky to have you. Do yourself a favour and call in to Blackstump Gallery for fine art, genuine souvenirs and momentos of your stay in this special part of Australia.
The gallery is amazing! Full of the most amazing art I have ever seen!
Do yourself a favour and check this place out you will not be disappointed! Broome is very lucky!
Be impressed by the NEW heritage styled Black Stump Gallery. As soon as you walk in the front doors, the high ceilings & enticing spaces will draw you in to view a fabulous range of art from selected artists portraying the true spirit of the Kimberley. Truly a credit to the owners Emma & Simon & a magnificent addition to the Broome arts & culture scene. Just around from Matsos Brewery.
My wife and I followed the build of Black Stump Gallery from start to finish, and are just amazed at the perfection and beauty demonstrated in this place!
We love the aspect of Broome and Beyond, and the way local Kimberley artists are incorporated to awe and inspire! We love it!
We heard about the gallery and watched it come to life on Facebook, so I was a must-see destination on our trip to Broome.and it didn’t disappoint.
There’s colour and vibrancy, there’s interesting detail and storytelling through each and every piece, and it’s wrapped in down-to-earth, Aussie service (not pretentious at all!).
We even had the opportunity to chat with the team behind the dream - well done Emma & Simon.
Be sure to check it out when in Broome and then head to Matso’s for a sundowner drink
