Bistro Louis reviews
21An authentic french cafe. Excellent service, good food and fair prices. Well worth a visit.
Wow! Dinner at Bistro Louis was nothing short of spectacular! The Pork was the best dish we have ever tasted and the gnocchi was delicious as well. Fresh baguette and the most delicious French butter. The atmosphere too, the staff. It was exquisite. Don't pass this Esperance gem up!
Very average. We went for lunch after reading the reviews online. Not very generous portions and taste not at all good. On several dishes! The chef may have been absent today. ; (We don’t know because no one came to ask us if everything went well. Too busy closing the kitchen at 1: 45 p.m. …
Fabulous atmosphere and great food. A touch of Paris in Esperance. Love the use of local produce and the constantly changing menu. Very welcoming and dog friendly. Portion sizes are super generous. Chef really puts in the effort to cook to cook from scratch. Madelines to die for with homemade lemon curd and berry coulis - wow. Plat du jour - chilli South Australian Mussels - superb. Best food in Esperance!
My go to happy place, the staff make you feel so welcome and at home, the food is delicious and beautiful,
From the cakes and croissants to the quiches, salads, toasties and Devine plates de jours during the day and the transformation into fine dinning in the evening do not miss out on this hidden gem!
A beautiful french cafe with lovely people! The staff were very friendly and kind. The food was very tasty and fresh. You could literally tell everything was made in house. We had croque madame and Meredith goat cheese on a toast with some yummy spanish pickled onion, raspberry cheese cake and some drinks. They were all really nice and the comments online really does justice!
Each table had handpicked small jars of fresh flowers which I felt was really cute. There are several gift shops around the cafe and it was overall a lovely experience. I will definitely visit again when I am back in Esperance
Ps: I would have liked a bit more on my plate because it was yummax!
Excellent bistro restaurant in Esperance, excellent welcome and attentive service, very good dishes very well prepared, copious and tasty, the octopus, the chicken, the leatherjacket fish, the desserts, everything was very good. An excellent time with friends, to be warmly recommended.
What a stand out! An amazing meal with superb service. Paul and the team were warm, welcoming and super hospitable. The authentic French food was freshly cooked, well presented and delicious. All the details were down to a T with the French welcome, francaise cutlery to match the bistro ambience. Very highly recommended. When in Esperance, this is THE place to dine. Gina Kruger & Ed Doble
This is the best place to dine at in Esperance, service is excellent, food fantastic (French) one does need to book thanks for a great evening
Had lunch here on our way through Esperance. A lovely clean, neat, quaint French Cafe. Food and coffee were great but the service/hospitality was exceptional. Paul and Lulu were friendly and full of local knowledge. Paul had a chat with us about places to see along the way during our adventure through WA. He even welcomed us to stay a little longer after the cafe was closed for us to catch up on emails and plan the next part leg of our trip.
Amazing service & delicious menu! You can taste the quality and see the passion for what they do. We came here for breakfast every morning on our 4 day stay in Esperance. A great experience every time.
See you next time Paul!
The food is awesome, the staff are super friendly and I can't wait for my next dining experience. The bistro is very accomodating and the chef is a superstar! Will definately be dining there as soon as i can
Waited 25 minutes for a takeaway coffee and when I still hadn’t arrived, I gave up in the end.
Had an ambulance call I had to attend to.
I won’t bother again.
Incredibly poor service.
A busy day, yes, but had you told me I would be waiting that long, I could have made a choice.
One of the best places I've been to would 100% recommend and would definitely come back
We come to Esperance yearly and one of the places we most look forward to dining at is Bistro Louis. The food is amazing and actually cooked by a French chef/cook. The service is super friendly and the setting is cosy and welcoming. Can not fault this very special cafe.
What an absolute delight. Cosy, warm, wonderful atmosphere, dog loving, amazing service, beautiful food and coffee. Your young waitress who spoke to us about Exmouth travels was absolutely gorgeous, what a beautiful young lady who treated us so well and made us feel special. Keep doing what you are doing Bistro Louis, you are doing EVERYTHING right. We are just passing through the town but cannot recommend you enough.
Just found this little gem at the Museum Village in Esperance. Great coffee, both had a couple of great French influenced dishes, Croque Madame and the Duck liver patch, both delicious. Lovely staff and great atmosphere
Very lovely team and staff great atmosphere feeling, was really nice to see that they had blankets out over some chairs to keep warm in the cold weather so you can still enjoy your meal.
Rare find to have great meal and service AND be dog friendly. What a gem. Staff were lovely and were super accommodating with my two wild little doggos in tow.
Brilliant coffee and a delicious croissant just all round perfection. This cafe was soooo good and so incredibly clean also. Thanks so much.
