Bought a bike from Fast Lane and could not be anymore happier with the customer service, especially Jayson he has many years of experience riding bikes and very knowledgeable about bike parts and definitely looks for a bike that’ll suit you and also fits your budget, I went In originally looking for a specific bike which was on the pricier end but even tho Jayson could of sold me an expensive bike gaining more money he would rather suggest a bike that’s better or more suited even if it’s cheaper, will be shopping here when I need equipment or services due to the amazing customer service and thanks again to The Bike Lane crew for all the help in choosing the bike

Thanks again to fast lane bike store for helping me choose a new gravel bike.

Wonderful service and always willing to order a special part in, if they don’t already have what you want in stock.

Thanks so much!

Thank you Nehan for the 10/10 effort; Despite you being in the midst of closing down the store, you helped me willingly without hesitation, much appreciated

The team is second to none. They provide a quality service and have a vast breadth on knowledge about bikes. Reasonably priced and competent, can't ask for anything more!

The best bike shop in Perth for honest and reliable advice. Jayson, Clive and the team are very knowledgeable, unpretentious and just folk that love to cycle. They only stock products they use, so you can be sure you’re getting the right gear every time.

Took my bike here to be serviced and to find a creak that was coming from the bottom bracket area. It's one of the few shops that sell Cannondale in Perth, and had been here for retail purposes, so thought I'd get a quality service for my Cannondale.
Picked up the bike, paid for the creak find and was told they didn't do a service because my bike was clean.
Had a 140km charity ride the following weekend and about 20kms in the creak was not only still there, but it had been amplified and sounded like someone had put cube bearings in my bottom bracket.
Wrote a somewhat terse email to the Bikebug support and told them how dissatisfied I was with the "service" I received/didn't receive and how unlikely it was I would return.
Jayson responded and told me to bring on the bike again and they'd take a look. Had a call a few hours later from they're experienced mechanic Clive saying that he couldn't get my bike to creak. Told him how I was able to make the bike creak on and off the trainer. He said if it's going to creak, he'd find it. Clive called back a few hours later and again said he couldn't make it creak, but said he'd basically undid anything that had a thread, greased it up and redid it up. He also replaced one of the bearing rings in the bottom bracket.
Picked it up and have ridden it a couple of times, on and off the trainer and it hasn't creaked yet, so fingers crossed Clive fixed the problem by basically checking everything was tight.which is what I expected should have been done when I took it on for its original service.
They only charged me for the bearing, which I appreciated. Also appreciated the persistence in trying to fix the creak even though they couldn't replicate the issue in shop.
Glad I took the effort to follow up with their support to give them the store opportunity to fix the issue because I was very disappointed after my initial service interaction.

I've been here a few times over the past year, their prices are usually very competitive in comparison to other shops in Perth and general assistance from staff is good too.

I was assisted by a young guy upon arrival who was knowledgeable and helpful, although I did notice he steered me towards the more costly items, he did eventually work to fit my needs. The service was then taken over by an older man that was pushy, and rude. After telling him I wanted an emergency tyre repair kit he inferred that I wouldn't be able to change a tyre anyway, and would have to "call an uber or hope someone helps me" despite the fact that I'd told him that I rebuilt my current bike including changing the tubes using a friend's tools. He was also dissatisfied with my answer when trying to upsell me on products. I wanted to give one star, but I did appreciate the young guys efforts.
Edit: From your response I can ascertain that you've failed to acknowledge the result of your mishandling and would rather deflect it on to the customer. This platform has no reply function to your comments, so you're not responding to resolve the issue, only to exonerate yourself.

I have had two Polka-dot services at bike bug Subiaco 12 months apart. According to the service description it includes a hub service.

A week after the first Polka-dot service, my bike developed a creaking noise. I returned to Bike Bug and was told it was the front hub (cup and cone bearings). I paid them to replace the bearings and cones as they were worn.

Recently I had a second Polka-dot service. When I dropped off the bike I mentioned that it was making a creaking noise and suggested it could be one of the hubs. When I picked up the bike no mention was made of this. The noise continued post service and got worse. Two weeks post service it became obvious that it was from worn front hub bearings.

I now have to replace my front hub if I want to keep using the wheel. This may have been avoided if they had serviced the hubs as mentioned in the service description. As I had also mentioned the noise when I dropped of the bike and suggested it could be a from a wheel hub I find this unacceptable.

If they are not going to service the hubs with the Polka-dot service they should remove it from the service description posted on the internet. At the moment this is false advertising.

In addition I am left with a ruined front wheel hub. I am not happy with the service I have received from Bike Bug

Online blames creator of content, creator of content blames Bike Bug. Can't spend vouchers in store. No one owns up to anything and after going around in circles I have just wasted time with a business that takes not accountability for anything. I would steer clear.
