BIG4 Dongara Denison Beach Holiday Park reviews
51What a great location, wonderful and helpful management, great beaches, nice pub and a great long weekend all round. Dongara Denison has become a beautiful town with so much to give and this Park is a real beauty. Well done to Park Manager Maria and her team.
Great customer service, facilities always kept very clean. Sunday pancakes very delicious, thank you for the stay. We will definitely come again.
The best caravan park going, so close to a beautiful beach and the facilities are so clean, the cleaners are fantastic, only wish they had pay for three stay four
Great location, super happy with the caravan we picked.the sunset every night was wonderful.playground very close by also we rode along the coast to the playground every day.
The staff were able to fit us in a powered site super last minute, they were so easy and pleasant to deal with at all times! Ammenities were very clean and cannot be faulted, will definitely be staying again!
We stayed in an ensuite camper trailer site. The ensuite was simple but clean.such a bonus! The camp ground were beautifully maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect: right on the foreshore & next to a large park area and also dog friendly. We will definitely be back!
We spend an overnight in a 3 bedroom cabin/house on our way home from Exmouth. What a pleasant experience!
Just everything was perfect- clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is that we could not stay longer.
A big thank you to all the staff and management for your great efforts.
Absolute Amazing place to stay.
Right on the ocean and such a relaxing friendly quiet atmosphere. Staff are fantastic big shout out to them for the hard work in making it our new favourite place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Great food and fish and chips walking distance from the park and plenty for the young ones to do 10/10 thanks guys
Stayed here a few times absolutely stunning view of the ocean we had the best caravan bay on site definitely 5 stars
Amazing caravan park highly recommend staying there, staff are fantastic and very helpful
This is a small caravan park which makes it feel very family friendly very clean bathrooms and kitchen.
Close to beach, fish co op, and traven which has amazing food this place has everything you want for a lovely relaxing
stay
Thank you
It is an absolutely wonderful beach holiday park. Our cabin is super clean, on the beach, beautifully decorated and a short stroll to the beach. We can watch the ocean and the beautiful orange sunsets from our cabin deck. It is much bigger than the usual holiday park cabins, the fridge is huge and so are the closets. Most comfortable beds and furniture, lovely shower, 100 percent self-contained. A gem ️
Beautiful beach front location, walking distance to town jetties. Kids loved Sunday pancakes. Great place to unwind or watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
Stayed one night in cabin, where do I start, vertical blinds broken, shower door wouldn’t close, there wet all inside toiletries bag and floor, towels were like dog towels, holes in tea towels, different handles on drawers, uncomfortable bed, hole in wall where they had replaced an old toilet roll holder,
Never stay again ️
One of the cleanest parks we have stayed in, staff is very friendly we will definitely be back.
A lovely clean, tidy, modern caravan park. Close to the beach and a short walk to the pub for dinner Very nice clean modern amenities, large shady sites, friendly staff. Meet and greet on Thursday afternoons at the camp kitchen with free nibbles, and plenty of them! Pancakes for breakfast on Sunday mornings between 9-9.30 am! 10/10
For my first time camping in Dongara, this was a lovely campsite. It is a bit small, but neat and very well maintained. I love camping; other campers are usually lovely, friendly, helpful people and this was no exception. We snagged an en-suite campsite, which would have been ideal for a caravan but a bit difficult for a tent and gazebo. Despite that, we got set up and loved our stay.
The location is excellent. It's on the Port Denison side within walking distance of the hotel, which serves good food, a bottle shop, a fish and chip shop that serves excellent and great value food, a playground and the port and beaches. Not far from the camp ground is a lovely walk on the beach and, in the opposite direction, is access to a 4WD beach that was firm enough to drive on comfortably. The kitchen was impeccably clean, with sufficient space in the fridge for our food and two gas stoves, although these didn't seem to change gas flow when dialled down. The kitchen might benefit from another toaster and kettle, but that's just me.
However. This is a Big 4 park. Other Big 4's that I have stayed at have playgrounds, activity rooms, and other distractions for children. This had none of those, apart from pancakes on Sunday (which were delicious). Most of the other campers seemed to be older and in caravans, which made the need for children's facilities moot. Down the road, the other campsite had a playground and giant pillow, which was overrun by children, but with dirt roads, I imagine a lot of children go home filthy.
Overall, the stay was lovely with very friendly and helpful staff.
Relaxing overnighter.
Great Customer Service Checking In. Quiet, great view of the beach.
Awesome stay great staff very clean park and amenities. Walking distance to shops, fishing and tavern whole lobster on menu chips and salad just great.
We Always enjoy a night at the Big 4 when we come up for a house inspection. The park is located by the ocean & protected by a big granite rock sea wall. It has many chalets overlooking the wall to the sea. The park is lawned & well kept. There is also a beach area for swimming. Port Denison has a very nice fishing boat marina with walkways. It's always a pleasure coming up here from Perth.
Unfortunately we only stayed for an overnight stay in our van due to time restraints.
But as soon as we got there, we said we, ll be coming back.
Nice, quiet, very clean amenities, great view of the water, and d og friendly park.
Highly recomended, if ya looking for a relaxing week.
Oh, and those cabins look cossie too.
Well done staff.
Mark.
