BIG W Joondalup

This Big W is much better than all the others I've been to.
The store is always tidy and if I need assistance it's not difficult to find a staff member.
The staff are always helpful and they always have great bargains.

Big w now do not hold items. Nor can you call any store directly. You instead get a call centre.
The Website is usually wrong on stock levels and also click & collects take longer sometimes so I could place a click and collect and it not be ready when I get to the store hence why a phone call to the store directly and putting it on hold is easier sometimes.
Usually people call to put items on hold and confirm stock but now cannot do this.
Big step back in customer service.
I understand too many calls but not allowing holds for a minimum of 24 hours is bad service.
The call centre could contact the store directly and put items on hold for the customer but no holds are allowed.

What store doesn't hold items? !

When i open my eyes too enter the glorious shop that a buy from known as Big W im greeted by these behemoth "humans" that work at the store, one even asked if im into the same gender, Disgusting.

The old lady in tech was very rude never ever going back needed something she couldn’t even assist me just sarcasticly said says yeah sorru can’t help we have none here even though it said it does instore stock very dissatisfied

BROSKI, this place is like a dumb. Nothing it’s in its place n the whole store is a mess, then staff were very unhelpful and arrogant. Absolutely Awfull service and experience

Great place to shop for bargains on homewares, clothing, toys and many other products. Highly recommended

The staff here are really great. Unfortunately, when I visit there today, quite a lot of items I was hoping to buy had sold out. There is a nice friendly atmosphere in this branch and staff are readily available and easy to find!

Very good went to Electronic section. Did not buy anything, but young guy behind the counter very helpful.

Yay Christmas decorations etc are plentiful in Big W. Wasn't too busy at Big W Joondalup and service was quick and friendly. Only went in to look at baskets and got sidetracked by all the Christmas pretties!

The store have good quality products and i like shopping there. But at today's shopping i noticed after i paid that the prices for two products have been mistaken.
First mistake:
I bought 2 identical packs of Systema plastic containers that been at offer. One had been taxed $7 and one $3.75. When i showed the tax invoice and the product to the cashier, she tried to convince me that are different products. One product has been taxed as 3p rectangle 180ml container and one as 3p 430ml square container. It was obviously not square and not 430ml. She send me at lay-by, that it was in the back of the store, to be refunded. I said that i would like her to deal with the refund as her mistake was hers. It wasn't a change of mind refund. Till the end a supervisor refunme the difference.
Second mistake:
I have checked the invoice again when i have unloaded the shopping in the car and i notice that 2 of my cleaning brushed have been taxed as multiple buy even i had 4 totally different products. Went back to the store from the carpark and i have checked the product prices of the shelf. It was just 50c price difference so i didn't bothered to go at lay-by to ask for refund.
Conclusion:
BigW Joondalup is a nice store with good quality products but if you buy from there check your invoice for prices.
I would really like to think that the store can solve this and label properly the products.

Good variety. Easy shopping experience. Good lighting and had fitting rooms. Good value for money.

I love Big W. It has great mens tshirts (superheros and cartoon ones!) And I love their womens Disney and old school tshirts and jumpers! You can find well priced books here, and also some good Lego sales! They have started selling coffee and some food also, and the craft section is not just for kids! I love that they now have an awesome range of items. I spend ages there now

Not that any of the Big W Joondalup staff will care, but I will not be doing anymore business with you. I was at one time making orders weekly with you guys but there was always an issue. Consistently having 1-4 items cancelled off each order because of 'insufficient stock', then walking in the store to collect my order and seeing loads of stock of the items they cancelled. Rude staff. Always delays in pick up and blamed on staff shortage, yet the policy all over the Big W website is order before 12 lunchtime and pick up at 4pm. I order the day before and rarely is it ready to pick up the next day, mostly it's not packed until 2 days later. I just tried one last time and same thing again today, didn't get my order and it was a small order too. I will continue ti get all my baby/kids stock and other items elsewhere, as I can't be bothered with the inconvenience

Big W has a large range of goods, to buy. I walked the entire store, and walked out with unintended purchases. Up until then, my experience at BIG W had been, so-so. I will be back again, to check what's in store.

Very rude staff at Self Service Checkout Last night. To concerned with chatting with each other than assisting customers.

We went 4: 45 PM - We selected a toy to our daughter - then on the way back we discovered the toy is broken
First time the staff came to me and asked me that the store is closing (although it was not 5: 00 pm yet)
Another staff came and asked us that the store is closing in a very unprofessional way although I told her that we came back to replace the item!

The last time the staff came and asked us that we need to leave in a very unprofessional way she said (you need to leave now - it was very clearly mentioned in the audio announcement).

What unprofessional staff we’ve dealt with today

Instead of coming to us to resolve the problem and help to find us the right toy for our daughter! They were pushing us to leave as if we were servants working under them not customers.
We will never deal with this store!

In another store These type of staff would receive a misconduct notice from their management!

Zero customer satisfaction experience
Instead of attracting customers on this difficult times as other mega stores are doing - they are treating customers very badly!

If I could give 0 stars I would
Advertised stock that’s not available, was told over the phone that item I was looking for was there & plenty in stock, even though they had my details they waited until I had travelled to Joondalup to deny they had any stock, online even showed that there was stock available.
Get your game together!
Big W really is going to the pift!
Especially the Joondalup store, shocking!

Bit confusing to find curtains but that's a minor problem I had, other than that I found everything I need and the staff were very friendly
