Great retro game store, best in perth in my opinion. The owners are friendly, reasonable priced products and they don't mind a good haggle. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for nostalgic games, spare parts or originals to add to their collection all round great experience

Such a variety of stock and a lovely set up they have of their store. I love coming here even though it's not often due to distance but it is definitely worth it if you are into retro gaming and the likes of pop culturesque style. Mostly great pruces- tend to be market or slightly under for a lot but a few are above market but that's just what it is. Got a great little testing setup to test trade in consoles and games etc which is such a lovely sight to see. The staff are super friendly and incredibly helpful. They like to interact with their customers and visitors and its a really nice experience. Credit to the staff and their presentation and mannerisms and genuineness- truly so. They have a passion and it's obvious. A business yes but run but passionate helpful people. I know there is a lot of stock but I wish more people traded in stuff. Out of the retro stores for my interest it's about in the middle for pricing but that's a hard one because I'm particular and it's niche. Definitely recommend this to ANYONE that is even remotely interested in retro gaming culture of any kind- they have old magazines and guides and everythjng- old collectables and special editions and all that. Definitely check them out:)

Came in to trade in some games and old consoles. The guys there were very fair with giving me a good price. Will be happy to come back and trade in again

Condescending and rude. I have bought skylanders models here for my kids before and I went in again today to buy and trade. My 5 year old son even had his pocket money with him to pick something out. They offered me $7 for products that were on their shelves for over $80 and when I asked for a better trade than 1/10 the value and that the owner and staff member standing over me speak to me less rudely I was told thats how they do business and was asked to leave the store. This shop just seems to buy things off ebay and mark them up, recommend buying online if it's not an emergency.

Can trade your stuff for cash and a good selection of older generation consoles. Bought my Ps3 and ps2 + accessories here.

I am extremely happy with my purchase from Beyond Retro today. I rang this morning spontaneously to see if they had god of war, and they did! The customer service was amazing and the product itself was in incredible condition especially for a game that came out 15 years ago.would highly recommend purchasing from this store will be coming back soon!

Anyone who appreciates gaming should give this place a visit. Dario and Paul (the better looking one) in my opinion are great and make everyone feel welcome awesome shop

I asked one employee if I could lay-by some figurines, the employee said no worries, but you need to put down 20% to 30% deposit, i had no problem with that. I told the employee I would pick up the lay-by in 12 days. I had a look around the store, I went to put the items on lay-by the employee I dealt with was busy so I went to another employee.big mistake, told me they didn't do lay-bys, then asked me whole long it would be for, I said 12 days, the employee said no, how this employee came across was absolutely rude, as I left the shop my partner heard the rude employee have a go at the employee who helped me out when I first got to the shop.will not be going back and definitely not recommending this store to anyone.

Hands down, these guys are the best. I've never been in the store more than a minute without a staff member asking if I need help. They are knowledgeable about all things gaming and clearly love what they do. They have a huge range, including hard to find gear and games. There's always new stuff coming in so it pays to visit frequently.

But really, I have to come back to the staff. They are passionate gamers. With their exceptional customer service they have helped me pass on my love of old school gaming to my two boys. It's rare that a retail shop can have such an impact and these guys have a perfect formula. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.
