BEST WESTERN PLUS BUNBURY Hotel Lord Forrest reviews
85Been here for the first time. We gotta ocean view room. Young man at the reception was fabulous. My partner was actually amazed by him. Food was really good & staffs are friendly. Only issue was the cold spa.
Had lunch there a very nice meal. The man who was there was taking orders. Clearing tables he even bought food to the tables. Very enjoyable
Very good staff good pool but smells a bit like sweat. Others great buffet but 30 bucks each good pool table. And good location
Hotel manger was very kind and helpful very accommodating to our needs. Will definitely stay again and recommend staying to others.
First of all, the location is the best for the hotel, and you can walk around the area to grab a coffee or try the restaurants near there.
Bur terrible story happened, As we are the travel pass Bunbury and stay there for two nights. After we back to our room on the night of the first day, we found our big box of food disappeared which we put on the table back the door (where put the snaps area), we called reception and they replied I have to find the housekeeper the second morning.but they don't check the videos records and no one comes out to explain to us anything, just reply us the housekeeper who cleaned our room didn't take away any with a bad attitude (The manager of the housekeeper), we called the police then.but can not find back our lost things anymore.what an impressive experience, and I won't book it anymore also my friends and family. What a big joke this big hotel! I cannot believe that when customers lost things in their room, no one comes out to provide help but with a bad attitude. I don't think it is a safe place to stay, and they are racist obviously. I don't think they can provide friendly and patient service.
One more thing is the phone doesn't work, no one can fix it. This hotel can not provide good room-phone for customers.
GOD.
I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone. Rooms dirty, things not in working order ie, no hot water, bedside light, shower nozzle too harsh, curtains still original without any cleaning.
Very pleasant stay right in the heart of the foodies area. Got a bit noisy on the street but it was Fiday night with xmas shows happening. Vibrant.
So bad, service was rude and unreasonable and kicked me out just for yelling at my kid? Dont come here its a scam. And didnt sell chicken curry
Disappointed! 2nd stay here. Great location, good facilities and rooms. Terrible WiFi, always dropping out, ironically I couldn't write this review without disconnecting their WiFi. Also put my notice out on the door handle to have my room made up three days running! Never got done!
Clean, dry, fairly modern. Bit noisy. Biggest issue is that what reception told us were the disabled parking bays are neither properly sized nor marked and often constrained cars without ACROD stickers. In general disabled access was pretty poor with steps, narrow ramps and elevators.
Only complaint is that the room was a bit too warm for sleep. Other than that, great place to stay!
Great location, very central. Spacious carpark underneath is a massive plus. Staff are extremely kind and helpful! Room service is affordably priced and came very quickly. I usually avoid hotels due to being a smoker however this place allows smoking on the balcony with the door closed? ️ The room was clean and presentable and we will definitely be back.
Not impressed with service in resto- ordered started and main course. Main course for me arrived before a starter, I refused to take it bcz we have been expected a starter first …. Then later on, they brought mains…. But they brought the same plate to my me which was cold. We have asked a proper warm of my main and have been waiting for another 45 minutes - it is not acceptable …. We used to enjoy to come to Lord Forest…but from now and on - I would not recommend this place!
Nice place meals over priced service good but rooms average breakfast too pricey for cooked
The room I stayed in was clean and tidy. Looks like it was renovated not long ago. Unfortunately we stayed on a public holiday and the restaurant and bar was closed. Fortunately there are great cafes close by. The staff I did see were very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient and not far from beaches etc.
Stayed friday-sunday. It was alright except the bath wasn't clean, the phone didn't work, the dish cloth wasn't changed and there was hair on the bed.
Went there today for their $20 special lunch. All four of us had something different and all of us enjoyed what we had chosen. I had the pork belly meal and it was honestly one of the best pork belly meals I have ever eaten. The waiter was amazing too. We'll be back for sure.
What a rundown unorganised filthy hotel.
Prime location but unfortunately the owners have run it into the ground.
The food is terrible. Had to wait so long for our meal.
Wouldn't recommend staying there.
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights.
The air conditioning was not operating properly the first night which resulted in us having a terrible sleep. They removed the air filter the next day, which was lined with a thick layer of dust. The air conditioner did operate properly the following 2 nights.
The next day, we discovered that there was no spare toilet paper nor tissues (with only 3 left in the box). Housekeeping did not rectify this after reporting it and I had to attend reception to retrieve these items and carry them back to our room.
On the last day, we discovered a used condom underneath our bed, that certainly was not ours.
After providing this feedback to Hotel Lord Forrest upon checking out, I was told to "leave it with them" and that a manager would be in contact, in which I reached out after 4 days only to find out my feedback was not passed on.
I have requested compensation for this awful experience, in which they have refused.
Stayed for one night. Room had no electricity and the issue wasn’t resolved for a good four hours. Our complaints were brushed off by multiple staff members and no form of compensation offered. Their solution was to offer a cheaper room someone just checked out of without proper cleaning from housekeeping. Very unprofessional.
