Best Western Albany Motel & Apartments

What a pleasant place to stay! Whilst check-in staff are rather abrupt and non-chalant, the process was very simple. The rooms are spacious, modern and full of basic amenities. The location is absolutely fantastic. At a rate of $199pn as current, you'd be hard-pressed to find better value for your stay in Albany.
I'm a big fan of the assigned parking bays outside of each room.

Great location, easy walking distance to York Street and waterfront museums/parks. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and well appointed rooms. Coffee, tea, milk sugar, kettle and a variety of dishes/cutlery included. Cold air and noise from hallways leaking in around door, otherwise well kept. Hope to visit again in the future.

Had a great night in Albany. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. Perfect location in the centre of town. The two ladies at reception were wonderful. So many great recommendations for our visit.

Absolutely disgusting. Photos were not accurate. We booked the two bedroom apartment. Stains on the sofa. Place smelled of rust and mold. Such depressing accomodation. It ruined our trip and we couldn’t stay for another night, we left the next day even though we paid 3 nights. Asked for a refund and they refused. Horrible service. I am actively telling literally EVERYONE I know to avoid this place. They said that refund is not given part of their policy. We asked where that policy was stated and they refused to show us! AVOID.

Honest speaking this is the cleanest room I'ever seen when I'm travelling around in WA regional area. I took a family room (that comes with two rooms) and everything is nice and comfy. The only thing that I think could be improved is there is a room with no air conditioning unit although there is a window given.

Wonderful 4 night stay in room with a view. The refurbishment material was chosen with care and attention to detail which made the room feel more comfortable. Nice seating and table made to feel like you lived there.
Staff were efficient with rooms very clean. Able to walk to great food outlets.
Onsite parking a bonus. Excellent!

Walking distance to everything you need n want to do.we took our push bikes and rode from the motel around the area.
Clean rooms, serviced everyday.just a perfect week away.

It's in a great location, the rooms are of adequate size, the shower and bathroom facilities are amazing, just need a few hooks in the bathroom (but this is a super common problem with hotels/motels/airbnb, not enough hooks, I had to put my change of clothes on the toilet lid)

The bed is fantastic, pillows are super comfy.
Towels are decent and of good quality, Room is very clean.
Decor is modern.
It's fairly quiet at night, even though it is near the backpackers,

The downsides are the fact you can't cook or even toast bread in your room,
I get that they are trying to stop people microwaving food and making the rooms smell, but a toaster would be nice.
Maybe they are also hoping people eat out, but these rooms are quite expensive, so we are saving money by eating in the room if possible.
Fridge is also a touch too small.

Had a really great week in Albany staying here over Xmas. Near to everything no need to drive everything you go outside. Loved it!

We stayed the the junior suite, which has 2 rooms and can fit either 4 or 5 people. Really nice, clean, refitted premises so all feels new and fresh!

The Best Western on Frederic St Albany is perfectly located - convenient for walking around the city centre.
The Manager Vanessa was helpful as were the other staff members.
Room: Very good pillows/mattress and most importantly a lovely hot shower - ticked all the boxes for what we needed to come back and relax. Thank you - will be sure to visit againb.

I just wanted to publicly acknowledge how exceptionally clean your rooms continue to be.the bed and pillows are so comfortable. Sheets & towels are pure white and of good quality.
The cozy communal lounge room with the wood fire and complementary tea & coffee is such a welcoming gesture at reception.
The rooms are fully equipped with everything you would need on a long or short stay. Great location.

Good location in Albany. The staff are always extremely friendly each time I've stayed. Rooms are adequate, and bathrooms are nicely renovated and clean. Water is hot and water pressure is great. I've stayed here 4 times and would do so again.

We had 6 rooms. Customer service was outstanding!
The rooms were all super comfortable and the beds/ showers were great.

Typical hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Executive room was clean and had everything we needed. Some outdoor and adjacent room noise travelled through, but otherwise great stay.

Room 8 under the stairs, actually called the ‘poor room’ by reception. Same price as the others but not the same looking at the pictures, clearly. Hopefully you’ll do better than we did, Or will you?

Location is very good, staff were very friendly and helpful, place was very clean and overall value for money it would hard to beat.

Very welcoming staff and happy to fulfil guests requests. Rooms well presented and clean. Access to coffee machine in foyer a nice touch. Great central location. Definitely stay there again.
