Highly recommend Dr Agatha Gabriel. Very thorough, professional and happy to take her time with patients.

Waited over an hour to receive a vaccination and still got charged despite not getting the vaccination because they had run out. Terrible service

They were on time and I was very happy with the out come of my visit, the doctor I seen was lovely, could not fault her

Well I walked in the door 45mins early and was told by a receptionist "do you know it's only 12.15pm" I replied with "yes I did" I sat down and watched the clock. At 1: 45pm asked a different receptionist about my appointment and apparently the previous one forgot or intentionally didn't tell the doctor I was there. So I hope she gets reprimanded but everybody else was great

Sad to see Belmont Medical Centre have rebranded as "Mixed Billing", a polite term for working aged people struggling with spiralling cost of living being further lumped with subsidising the cost of care for the old and young, irrespective of how large the assets the latter have access to.

I’ve been coming to this medical centre for years due to the fact it was bulk billing. I put up with their sub par service and medical advice as it was free. However they recently changed to mixed billing meaning you paid $61 up front and Medicare reimburses you $41.

When the staff up the front tried to do the Medicare part, it wouldn’t work. Was told to wait five mins and they’d try again. Waited around and nothing happened. Was told to claim online with receipts.
In the meantime I called Medicare who updated my details and told me they should be able to process it now without me being present. Called the practice and had to explain this over 5 times to the person on the phone before they said they’d get their manager. Called back saying manager does have access to do this but “the claims haven’t been working properly lately. Sometimes it will go through and sometimes it won’t”. I was again advised to claim online. I told them the Medicare admin told me the current wait time for online claims is 29 days. I had to fight with the Belmont Medical staff just for them to TRY and make the claim.

Low and behold, it worked. I don’t feel like I should have to explain to a staff member how to do their job.

Oh and after all that, the doctor gave me the wrong medication. The script for my repeat bill that I changed in November last year, he somehow did the old one and not the new one I’ve been on for 8 months? Honestly incompetent staff all around here.

I’ll definitely be paying to go visit elsewhere.

DR YOHANA KURNIAWAN
Has always been on time for me and she is very caring while going through my test results all the time. The front staff have always been friendly, that's why I drive 40kms to this Medical Centre.

Had a telehealth appointment booked for 1pm. Called at 1: 50pm and 2as told the doctor was running late and to wait. Called back multiple times at around 2: 20, call was answered and was put on hold multiple times without any explanation. Finally got through and was told the doctor was in with another patient and I should be 'next'. Finally received a call at 3pm. Absolutely terrible communication.

I have always been treated respectively by both staff and my doctor. The centre is well run, clean and tidy

I just did my quadruple bypass surgery a couple of months ago. Post surgery, I had to do a few visits to ensure i recover as much and as well as I can.

Dr Venkatarao
Amazing General Practitioner who will attend to your medical needs and who will take great care of you. Dr Venkatarao is an amazing listener and has always advised me medically to the best of his ability.

Dr Shri
As I am needle-phobic, Dr Shri has gone above and beyond the line of duty to make me and my wife feel very comfortable for our COVID vaccinations.
I was worried I would feel the pain and will bleed profuse since I am on blood thinners, I did not feel a single thing and did not bleed at all during the injection.

Thank you Doctors (and front of house staff of Belmont Medical Centre) for taking care of us while we are sick and in need of medical attention.

Absolutely rudest receptionist I have ever met, never coming back, and hope the nice doctors here find a better clinic to work in.

Always easy to book in as plenty of time slots always available and their surgery hours are until late (11pm)

I saw Dr Yohana last week. She was very knowledgeable and showed concern. She went out of her way to provide information and suggestions to me. Much appreciated.

GP I had was dismissive and didn't listen to what I had to say and assumed I just wanted medication for what I was concerned about instead of giving me a professional opinion - gaslighting me and my concern to invalidate me.

My wife Andrea seen Dr Rao about her blood pressure and everything was good. He is a great doctor

I have been attending this surgery for years and find the Doctors good. Never had any issues, been well looked after

Quick and efficient. I'd say a 20m wait isn't too bad on a scale of "That was Quick" to "Someone just walked out"

Dr. Yohana Grace is the best Doctor. I will travel an hour to see her as she is very understanding, patient and knows her stuff.

I have been a patient here for five years. The reception team is very friendly and helpful. I have been to several doctors here and have found them to be very caring, thorough and helpful. The Practice Nurse is also a pleasure to deal with. One of the doctors is a skin cancer specialist. They also have a pathology clinic at the surgery so you can get your tests done straight away. The practice bulk bills and I recommend them very highly to any new patients.

The reception staff were super efficient. Absolutely packed waiting room full of vaccination patients and patients for doctors. Still got to see doctor fast, given its a bulk bill clinic and has far higher patient numbers I was really happy with speed of service.
