Bells Rapids Park reviews
63I went with my carer and we couldn’t access it as too steep but I couldn’t go further it’s a shame we are not able to explore our beautiful country side. It’s a shame it’s not accessible for everyone to enjoy.
Gorgeous walking trail at this time of year. Goat walk is a little challenging but well worth the effort,
A must visit during winter time in Perth. Such a beautiful place. Highly recommended if you are in Perth.
One of the most beautiful parks in the Perth region. Extensive trail network with a variety of terrain, great views, and dog-friendly. Well worth a trip from the city. Parking can get hectic during peak times (a lot of it is on dirt so can get rough some of the year) and has a steep single-lane entrance so take your time and be patient.
The rapids are in excellent shape currently due to the amount of rain recently. Great spot for a walk, do remember to wear appropriate footwear as the track is uneven and rough throughout. Take care around the water as the river is flowing fast.
Very peaceful, beautiful place to spend with family, swimming, bush walks, can park next to river (when not busy) nature at its best
Great place to be in nature, and allow your dog to play in the water, but make sure they can swim and follow directions. Summer is snake season, so snake avoidance is a must. Off-lead control is also a must. Pick your times to go, absolutely a pleasure during the week, but very busy over weekends and school holidays. You might even catch the ice cream man too.
Easy walking trail with loads of beautiful flora. Easy to setup along the river for a picnic. Great little spot for a day trip within the Perth area.
Had an awesome day at the Bells Rapids Park, the place is clean and well maintained. The view is amazing and great for hiking, walking and hanging out with friends for a picnic. Best place to relax and chill during summer. Around 30 minutes from the city when driving.
Such a beautiful place to take the family and have a nice day out. They have a icecream truck for the little kids and big kids too. Highly recommended checking it out.
Nice park to go for a walk. It is free to go to this park (unlike the Walyunga National Park nearby which charges a sizeable entry fee). There is a public toilet here. However, not many places for a picnic or BBQ (I suppose you can't BBQ because of fire risks). There are also few shaded areas. We came here during spring, so the weather wasn't too intense. But I think it'll be difficult during the summer months.
You can enjoy this trip for half day easily!
Nice track and view, and it’s a great rafting or hiking spot too!
真的很美,其中一側坡度有點挑戰性,不過整體來說不會很吃力。
喜歡爬山的可以來看看,很值得再去一次!
Very scenic easy walking paths and an orange juice van, with delicious freshly sqeezed orange juice.
Love this place so much! When life gets hard I spend 3 hours walking the hills and trails with the dog. Serene in spots.
This place is peaceful. Walking on country is always a pleasure.
This years rain certainly had Bells Rapids being very rapid.
Great place to go to walk alongside the river and enjoy the scenery.
However, if you are coming during a busy time, you may have to get creative with the parking.
First time here and I didn't want to leave I was surprised that my 6 yr old was having the time of his life and thoroughly enjoyed the hike. Beautiful scenery Just be aware that it's a very bad reception spot (even being with Telstra was not of much use) - needed to call my mum to check that she was ok as she's never hiked before and we got separated from each other.
Located North-East from Perth CBD in Brigadoon near Upper Swan. It is approximately a 38 minute drive from Perth CBD to Bells rapids. It features hiking trails and loops along the Swan River and gives you a phenomenal view of the river, hills and waterfalls. It is a great place to visit and has many things to see and offer!:)
Great day out for a walk or a paddle for the more sporty.
Visiting food trucks give yum choices of doughnuts and ice creams. Toilets on-site too.
