Beldon Tavern

The owners need to update their website. People still turn up expecting to have a meal.
The only good thing about this place now, is the staff, everything else is gone. Don't go on a public holiday, because they close early because they won't pay the extra for staff.

Gone downhill recently. Only CUB on tap whereas they used to have some good Crafties and the Kitchen was closed when visited. Shame because it's walking distance

Had a beer thrown over me and refused service over an hour before close by staff.

Lovely evening with my father night before Australia day, playing pool. Few games with a group of Irish guys and girls, great night. 8: 30pm the bartender calls last drinks, we finish our beers and go to get another round at 8: 40.bartender pours half before declaring no that's it and walks away, take our beers and go. She follows us around the bar and forcibly takes them off us, not letting her take our beers she then throws them over us and screams to leave. Two locals or undercover bouncers force us to leave, this is 8: 45pm mind you having an 8: 30pm last drinks for a 9: 30pm close.

Great atmosphere. Great crowd. Absolutely the worst bar staff I have ever experienced. 8: 30pm last drinks 8: 40pm too late with a 9: 30pm close night before a Public Holiday then having a beer thrown over me and physically thrown out.

I love local (Craigie) and I can say with certainty that thanks to the staff present Beldon Tavern is the worst pub in the northern suburbs, avoid at all costs.

Usually drink here once or twice a week to support the local guys. Had one beer here today and a bet. I was distracted and another patron or staff stole my money from the bar and shouted the more regular locals free shots. When I went back and asked for the video footage the lady behind the bar suddenly disappeared and I had to find her in the drive through hiding out only to be told she knew who it was and if I wanted to call the police or she would see if they would return the money. Left my number with no reply so be careful with your money down there as the staff seem pretty unconcerned about incidents like this!

Had an awesome Parmi there late last night for dinner, the staff couldn't of been more hospiital. Thanks girls much appreciated.

Amazing food. The best Bruschetta I've ever had! Went again tonight and enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak with mash and steamed broccoli. Asked for garlic sauce for the steak and got a garlic aoli that was warmed up. Liked it the old way they used to do it with garlic and cream. I hope they bring that version back.

First visit, good selection on menu and food was good too, cheerful staff in a warm atmosphere.

Well done limp wristed manager, missed out on $200+ no one wearing masks in eating area, but used his small stature to refuse us food, probably the only time in his life he has had authority over any one

Great food with great prices along with the drinks. It may be a small venue but it is fantastic on value.

Looked forward to long awaited return to The Beldon for a good pub meal.
What a disappointment it was.
All 3 meals tasteless and uninteresting, overcooked and dry.
Horrible skinny little chips were barely dunked into the fryer - most unusual - as they have always had THE best chips around. Crispy, golden and oh so tasty!

What's happened ; has the old chef gone?
We will not return to our fave dinner and lunch spot again unless we know the chef is back.

We went there before, nice and cosy pub. Have good food and reasonable priced. We where 9 ladies and everybody enjoyed it.

Was good to go out with the logo extended family. The staff were friendly making it a nice time for us. I feel a little let down by the meal. The parmy I got (Mexican) was not seasoned well a bit bland. But the rest of the meals were good. Thanks for getting the candle in the dessert for the birthday girl.

Great value for money. Pity they dont use local seafood instead of asian imports but all in all, a great place.

Had the $13.95 lunch special seafood basket with chips and salad. Great value will definitely go back

A bit like a country pub! Lots of chatter, froendly staff, reasonable pub style mesls with some good specials. Steak was a bit chewy but otherwise good!

I had Sirloin steak cooked really well with chips and salad all for $15.95. I enjoyed it, would definitely go again
