Beeliar Hive Pharmacy

Can you tell that this sealed Panadol bottle is broken and leaked all out? Well neither could the staff at hive or even us until we got it home 1.5hrs away (we were visiting family for Xmas) and saw the EMPTY broken 20ml bottle in the box. No Panadol for our teething (3 teeth at once) 10mth old and we live rurally. We promptly rang Hive and was told by a lovely lady, ‘no problem, when you are back in the area next month please bring it back for a replacement’. So we did!
However, the pharmacist (youngish small lady of Asian descent) thought we were lying. Despite their being a replacement box with a note on it waiting for us behind the counter, she very rudely stated that ‘they would have seen the spillage when scanning’. I pushed back stating that ‘no we bagged it immediately for the journey home and there was no liquid present in the bag’. Also WHY would we drive 1.5hrs in an old gas guzzling Land Cruiser just to get a $10 replacement item? !
So very disappointing in her service and accusations that I will never be back. She tried to shame me in-front of other customers too. You would think a pharmacist might be more aware of the mental state or fragility of a mum with kids of any age but especially one who has a teething baby. Sleep has been a thing of the past since early 2020 for this older mother of 2 young kids.
Most time poor and sleep deprived parents pick our battles and a lot of the time small things that should be actioned are left due to shear lack of mental, physical and/or emotional capacity!

I have been coming to Beeliar hive pharmacy now for many months. The staff have always been exceptionally friendly and helpful. In particular a gentleman named love who on numerous occasions has helped in choosing the right medication.

Like it love it. Its calming and truly one of the nicest pharmacy I have ever walked into.
I was overwhelmed how beautiful it was. It was clean and well organized. The displays were clean and well done. I was so impressed with the pharmacist, so swift and professional, to make me feel, at ease. So check it out, to manage your scripts vits and other products. Tuck in between the doctors and Aldi's. Also check out the amazing essential oil soaps. I brought one, rose, and went back and brought heap's. Also going back to buy more for mum.

I found the pharmacist on duty today to be unhelpful, disinterested and just wanting payment and for me to leave.

I will go to Pharmacy near Coles always from now on.

This place really does go above and beyond in looking after their customers.
Fady has been our go to guy for years now, but now has some stiff competition from Love (spelling?).
The other day, when my whole family struck down with covid and unable to leave the house, Love offered to deliver our order as he was finishing up his day.
I was really struck by the generosity and kindness.

Where to start! This pharmacy goes beyond any other pharmacy l have been to. The staff are so friendly and professional, they actually listen and actually care. Pharmacist Fady has been looking after my family’s needs for years. He always makes you feel like you are the only customer and no task is to much for this man to do or get for you. Recently l was working and my daughter is at home in pain from a sports injury waiting to have surgery and her doctor gave me an e script over the phone, l was told by Fady to send to him he would sort the script and personally deliver the pain relief to her so she could be my comfortable! Omg what a complete peace of mind to know my daughter was going to be pain free and l didn’t have to leave work or stress. Whilst l would not expect this service all the time l was so impressed and appreciated what was done. I can only recommend you go and be reassured that you WILL receive nothing but the most professional and humble service from all the staff. Thank you Fady and staff for all you do for myself and my family. Also be assured if they don’t have what you are looking for they will do there best to source and get for you at a competitive price, they are by far not out to rip you off. Dishonest, deceitful, not a real pharmacy. I took my neighbour to the doctors next door (who were great) and then got a prescription from them. All seemed fine. I then went to get the repeat from my neighbours usual pharmacy and they told me it was going to be $30 instead of $6.50 because BEELIAR HIVE has no medicare approval! Hive charged us $6.50 and did not tell us it was now not a medicare prescription, which apparently they legally have to do. Then apparently they sent the prescription after hours to a Sorrento pharmacy for them to get fully paid by medicare. According to my neighbours usual pharmacist this has been going on for some time. How they get away with medicare fraud and disclosing private information to another pharmacy is beyond me.

Edited to reply to the managers reply. You've got no idea. Scotts a stand up bloke and even when he owned Yangebup and worked at Lakelands, he's been awesome. He'd never slander like you accuse him of. He was nicer about it than I would have been. Seeing as he's owned pharmacies in the area for 20 years and has always been excellent to us, we'll just keep going back to Scott.

Interesting how you don't deny your dodgy dealings with Sorrento. All above board then hey mate?
