4 Very disappointed.
I was after Hilo milk and there wasn’t any at first. Then magically there was one bottle. It’s yesterdays date but should be ok he says. I’ll give it to you for $2. Worth a shot I thought. Ok I’ll get it I said.
Asked for a pack of ciggies. $15 above what Ida St deli charges! Get home and the milk was 6 days out of date!
Safe to say I’m not going back anytime soon!
The money I will cop, but not the dishonesty
Newish to the area, so I am a local now.
Went in to buy coffee for $7.95 and when he typed it in the Eftpos machine he didn’t show me the price, I asked to check the receipt and he charged me $11.95 for the coffee.
I was telling my husband to check the receipts when he goes there, next time he went the same thing happened to him, checked the receipt and the deli charged him $19 for 2 dares
Hard to find a good deli with a wide range of stock and then throw in a friendly cashier who loves his community. Slot like what we use to have on every 2nd block.
