Very disappointing experience at Blakers taxation with Virginia. We been using this tax agent since last 4 years and been started getting fines from ato due to some silly mistakes by them while filing the tax return. Up On receiving the letter contacted the tax agent and they said we will rectified all the errors and won’t receive any further letters from ato anymore, So we paid the fine last year and this year also we received the same letter from ato as the tax return filed incorrectly again. Contacted the agent, said she will get in touch on the next working day, never heard anything from yet. Seems like they have no commitments towards the clients. Never using them again for any tax purposes. Very unprofessional.

Waste of my time and energy, left my paperwork at their office for weeks with multiple phone calls for them not to even look at it.

DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT use these people, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETANT, LICENCED? After almost 3 months waiting for my tax return i contacted "Virginia" at BEDFORD ACCOUNTING SERVICES to find out where my tax return was. To my amazement they HAD NOT lodged it. I was told that i had to sign a "profit & loss" statement which they didn't say when i was there getting my tax done, then after 1 week with no letter i called again, and the had my wrong address even after i gave them in writting and verbally my new address and new number.so i got them to e-mail me the form.
After reviewing it the $12,000 return i will told i was to recieve it turned out to be $4000.
Now i am not an accountant but these so called professinals should know basically what they are doing, (ARE YOU READING THIS VIRGINAI AND CYRIL?)
I rang again and spoke to Cyril, apparantly the manager/owenr and he said he would look into it and get back to me in a day or so, Serveral days later and several phone calls to CYRIL i finally got him to answer my call as VIRGINIA who i think is totally unprofessinal and very very unhelpful didn;t want to talk to me (who said customer service is dead in Australia?) he said she gave me an estimate on my tax return, now if she said $4500-$5000 return and i got $4000 i caould understand that but $12,000 to $4000 makes me wonder if VIRGINIA is qualifed to do tax returns or just some bored housewife that thinks she can.
SO PLEASE PEOPLE IF YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING ANY TAX WORK DONE DO NOT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT GOT TO BEDFORD ACCOUNTING SERVICES. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Josephine is a very good accountant. I have had to sack 4 accountants in the past and this lady is the best. Ive never had any problems at all. Top value as well. I wont go anywhere else.
