Beaumaris Family Practice

Dr Tegan Martyn is absolutely fantastic. She makes me feel heard, she is so empathetic and really puts the time in to follow up my health concerns. Other health professionals that I see have also commented on how comprehensive she is. I’m really grateful to have found such a wonderful GP:) :) :).

Dr Tegan is absolutely amazing! Never had a gp who truly listens and cares and much as her!
I've also seen Dr Katie Hoff who is just as wonderful!

The staff and dr here are always so helpful, polite and professional. The drs listen and don’t rush you out. The nurses are fantastic too

I have been seeing Dr Kerrich now for probably around 15 years and she is without fail an amazing GP. She is kind, attentive and very thorough. I have a complex medical history and she is on top of everything. On the occasions when I have not been able to get an appointment with her, I have seen Dr Wilke and Dr Martyn and have only good things to say about them too. They are a busy practice and as with any other practice there can be wait times but I can’t fault them. The reception staff are always friendly too, which is rarity now days.

The doctors here are usually great, as are the nurses. But the receptionists are some of the rudest ladies I've ever had to deal with. Unfortunately the receptionist team really brings the clinic down. Shame. Clinic manager should really look into whose on the front.

Great Doctors but having to wait 2 weeks before you can see your doctor is just ridiculous too bad if you feel really I’ll and you can’t get in! I guess I have to wait not very ethical.
Maybe stop taking on new patients and leave time on the day for people that really need to see their doctor, or is everything about money!

I have been with Beaumaris Family practice from the day it opened and with the same Doctor before that so about 30 years. I have found apart from the amazing girls at reception who are so kind and caring they will always do there best to accommodate your needs. (They are always extremely busy but always remain calm and caring). As for the Doctors some of them have been there from the beginning and some are newer but they are ALWAYS professional, caring but more importantly will always be in your corner and have your best interests at heart. I have been pregnant and raised a daughter whilst under there care and I love that I had continuity of care for my child till she was 18. I can’t recommend Beaumaris Family practice enough there care Is 100%. There overall professionalism, kindness and care is above and beyond.

Our family has been with this practice since 2004 and we have had excellent service. All staff including, receptionists, nurses and doctors, have always been respectful, sensitive, compassionate, professional and approachable. We had a very challenging 2020 and the staff at Beaumaris were extremely supportive, going above and beyond to help in so many ways. We couldn't have asked for better treatment and are extremely appreciative of all the staff there especially Dr. Garrett Ryan.

I get there on time for my appointments and I'm always waiting for 20 - 30 minutes to see the dr. I was late by 5 minutes last time and the receptionist was very rude about it. I'll be going somewhere else in future.

I noticed not many reviews have been left here but I seen Michael for a vasectomy and the experience was exceptional.

Made sure everything was clear, gave me options to choose from in relation to sedatives etc. (Get this by the way, I was asleep I think for most of the 20 minute surgery)

Highly recommend lads to see Michael its much cheaper than another private school fee.and not out of pocket that much due to Medicare rebates.

Slightly sore but much less than what I thought.

Has been my Medical Practice of choice since 1994. Have seen many GP's come and go but have always had compassionate and competent service from whoever I have seen.

Overpriced and charge unfairly. To wait 20 minutes for your appointment and then be charged $81 for a 3 minute appointment with no medical examinations carried out, simply just getting a sick note to cover a preexisting and documented health issue, is an outrage. Although this is a private practise, they have the authority to bulk bill and to be charging patients a full consultation price for that is completely unjust.

Just saw dr beckett for a vasectomy and he was fantastic! I would recommend seeing him if you need the snip. Thxs mate

I have been going to Beaumaris family Practice for over 20 years.
The Reception Staff are very friendly and helpful.
I see my G. P Dr James McNeilly every two weeks and l always walk out of the surgery happy

I have been going to the centre for 20 years. The doctors are all great and the nurses. Dr Hawksley is fantastic. Receptionist are really friendly and you never have to wait more then 5 min for your appointment. We now go there with our son since his birth 4 years ago and they bulk bill for kids. They are really good with him.

I have been attending this practice since 1999 I have always experienced friendly professional staff at reception. My main doctor is Chris Jacklyn he is kind understanding and just all round fantastic. When Chris is not available I see Garret Ryan who is equally fantastic could not be happier and certainly would not go to any other medical centre. I moved away from the area in 2010 but still happy to travel to receive the genuine care and service. Thanks guys keep up the good work
