Beachpoint Cafe reviews
75The beef was overcooked, asked them to replace the beef and it was overcooked again. Almost as tough as leather and inedible. So they eat their own food? Ube latte was good though
Went there for the first time recently because we were in the area. Ambiance and location were perfect big food and service was very disappointing. The hashbrowns were double fried and felt old and the bread was cold. The staff were not very friendly or approachable but it may be due to staffing shortages. Overall I think the pricing of the food is based on the location rather than the quality of the food itself I
Lovely cafe by the beach.
No beach views because of the dunes, so it wasn't windy.
Tastfully cute, and decorated in Hampton style. You couldn't see the front of the shop very well from the outside so I missed it on the drive to it. The tint would be fantastic in summer with glaring sun.
Food portions were great, not too much and priced just right for the portion sizes. Tasted good too. Big breakfast and pumpkin salad with added avo is excellent. The macadamia brownie is a definite. Fish, salad and chips was fresh and just right. Coffee and hot chocolate were excellent. But their towering beverage creations are exceptional and they looked unbelievably fabulous. Their pancakes and waffles looked mouthwatering scrumptious.
Service was ok. Probably needs more experience as it wasn't terrible but not great either. Food was served quite quickly.
Parking which is beach parking, is a little further away but not much so.
Wheelchair/pram lift access available.
Toilet facilities available at the cafe. Only for cafe users.
QR code is available at the table if don't want to wait.
Cute little cafe in Coogee, close to the Omeo wreck.
Kid-friendly: high chairs, colouring books, kids menu, great babycchino for 1.5$.
Not dog-friendly: they sell dog biscuits but there are no terrace seats so your pooch will have to wait outside.
We've been here many times, service is usually friendly and fairly quick but.
It closes at 2pm and they had their lunch menu from 10am. I'd say they are brunch options more than lunch though, they only have things like sandwiches, bagels, fish & chips, one rice dish maybe. Nothing substantial like pasta or so.
My daughter was very happy with the babycchino. Salmon bagel was tasty. Omelette was a bit bland. Coffee is a bit bitter.
Had a range of dishes and coffees. Great drinks for kids, babycino and milkshakes. Adult coffees were incredibly bitter, unfortunately. Meals were hit and miss, pumpkin salad was really flavourful and well rounded. But the Reuben was utterly dried out with a brioche bun and not enough sauce, it was a struggle to eat it, honestly. Chips and kids meals were excellent except for an anaemic ham and cheese croissant.
Service was slow with long wait timea, but it was a holiday, during a rush and they were short staffed so.
Food is great when the sisters that own it are on site, otherwise quality and presentation decline a lot. We used to go weekly and this is a nice place, but the inconsistency of food quality is an issue. Additionally they have a large seating area but half is usually blocked off, making for cramped conditions in the open section. Furthermore the opening hours can be sporadic and not aligned to the local market with competitors having much longer opening times. We have started using local alternatives and are happy with the selection in the area.
This place was fairly underwhelming for all the positive praise it gets on Google. NY Reuben was pretty solid, corned beef and the cheese was great, little small for the price. Seafood platter was overpriced, fish was not fresh and the prawn tempura wasn't great either. Lastly they forgot the milkshake we ordered and had to remind them, all good, mistakes happen, but again don't feel like it was anything special especially for the price.
Interesting food options like the tapsilog so maybe will try that if we ever go back again
The reuban sandwich and the seafood platter were amazing. Great location and really well priced
We often come here for brunch or lunch after a morning of snorkeling and swimming at the nearby wreck. The place is easily walkable from the beach and there are cycle racks in the shade out the front of the cafe.
The food and drinks are good. Especially the smoothies and shakes.
Ordered a mango smoothie, received a concoction of milk and chunks of mango. Had not been blended at all. Most of it got chucked out, kept a bit purely for photos. Coffee is also very sub-par.
Service was very slow especially as it wasn’t busy, seems like Uber eats comes first.
Both of our breakfasts were nearly cold when we eventually got them.
Breakfast with a friend. You can queue and order at the counter or you can order on your phone via the qr code. I like having the option. It's not the cheapest but the food is good.
First time at the cafe for breakfast. Staff very professional at all times and the meals the 4 of us had was amazing. We will be back thankyou.
Cheers

Amazing food and excellent customer service! Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Our go to meals are the eggs hollandaise and the toasted Jezzy We pop in often because the eggs are just that good!
I had a look at the negative reviews and they aren't really fair. Sometimes there are delays when the place is full or if you arrive close to the kitchen being closed and there are less staff on hand but nothing unreasonable! It's a small family run Cafe that does excellent food, if you want food in 5mins go to maccas.
Cute cafe overall. When I went there I ordered the macadamia pancakes' which were a little under cooked, I also ordered the mocha. This was really disappointing as it tasted like pure coffee, extremely strong and no flavour but the overbearing coffee. This could have something to do with the time of day etc.overall I would try again but hesitant to do so.
Everything was great.
However, the manager should put a sign on the door stating 'Please close door behind you' or 'please close door once entered', as it is winter the breeze is cold and some customers are inconsiderate and have no common sense or etiquette to close door behind them!
My friend and i had to close the door multiple times! Will people only close doors when there's a sign put up?
Absolutely wonderful, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, will be back!
Wow, WA Ulysses Breakfast Club was held at this Cafe this morning. Highly recommend! The food was delicious and the coffee was great! But, I cannot speak more highly of the service. The team were exceptional They coped with a full Cafe of not only a crowd of loud bikers but other patrons and no-one had to wait very long for food or drink. Give yourselves a pat on the back for a great job well done.
Waiting outside to receive your order is ridiculous, wont be returning.isnt it enough to have a mask on while waiting for ones order
Nice little cafe. Friendly staff. Good prices. I had the avo tomato feta bruschetta, and it was delicious! Coffee was great. Kids enjoyed their scrambled eggs and milkshakes, and the colour ins that were supplied.
