53After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked how much longer it would be, and was told 'not long'. Once an hour had passed I had to leave, and I won't come back. I even arrived 10 minutes early.
I had an appt with Dr Ngo to get a referral for mental health services. Big mistake. She kept denying my issues when I spoke up about my depression, saying I had no reason to be depressed. Very unprofessional. What doctor says this to a patient? She didn't even speak to me about what services I wanted to do and shoved it straight down my throat like I had no choice. Just referred me straight to headspace without consulting me first if I wanted to go to headspace. Of course, headspace sucked and I dreaded it. Going to her was a mistake.
Also, receptionists are rude for no reason. The wait time is atrocious.
I waited for more than 1 hour passed my appointment time for the gp. It is very annoying. I didn't see any other doctors here only one doctor, and there was a very long queue.
The doctors don't care about anything except their pay cheques. Do not waste your money here, go to someone who cares and will actually help.
Been a patient of this practice for over 15 years, have great respect for all the staff at the practice, always helpful and efficient reception staff, the Doctors have always been thorough in investigation and follow up.
A very busy surgery, sometimes running a bit behind, which is reassuring that they do investigate and are involved in the health care of their individual patients and are prepared to put in the extra effort, irrespective of the complaints of those inconsiderate patients who may have to wait, while someone obviously needs more time with the doctor. I was worried going in cause my illness but the doctor there his name is hard to say I call him doc article.but what a wonderful man really took care of me and professionally. Great place great reception and fantastic doctors.
Excellent doctors all of them main ones that I go to maria Cheng dr leeanne Hosking's and dr ajiboye been going there since I was 18 now 40 wont go to anyone else and the reception is very friendly and caring.
Quality of care is good, however time management is really poor. In 2 visits there has been at least a 30 minute wait, the most recent one more than an hour! There needs to be a better system in place (i.e gaps between scheduled appointments) so delays don't accumulate throughout the day.
I like the doctors that I see but their time management is incredibly poor. Every time i visit this clinic, I’m waiting at least an hour to get into my appointment. My recent visit I waited up to two hours to get into my appointment. I don’t have time to wait around for two hours, I have work and uni and other tasks that need to be done. I don’t have time to wait around that long. It woukd be nice if someone called in advance to let us know if the doctor was behind scheduled so we either know or are able to reschedule. I really needed this appointment and at one point I was tempted to leave because I was running out of time. This isn’t just a one off, it’s every time and it’s so frustrating.
Doctor Ngo is an amazing doctor, but the receptionist name Christine is extremely rude, the patient should be treated with a respectful and polite way. The practice manager should have a serious look about Christine's attitude and manner in order to keep the practice images and reputation, i am not the only one can see that your receptionists are having issue in serving patient. Hope that help.
Doctor Snell is rude, uncaring and judgmental. Steer clear if you want any kind of compassion or need more than 5 minutes of her time. Disgraceful.
Extremely rude receptionist, have been attending this clinic for over 50 years, no more, absolutely disgusting way to treat clients. She told my fifo husband who recently had a heart attack and heart surgery, who is handling 8 scripts, all of which have varying amounts of medication on it, not necessarily 30 days worth, as most script's are, that he needed to organise himself better, when he explained that he was missing one of his medications. Told him to come back next week, with a really bad attitude. He explained that this medication was required daily and he was unable to wait until next week. Care factor zero. Thanks goodness the Amcal Chemist across the road was able to help him out. This is not the first time we have experienced this woman's rudeness, and many others have also had issues but it will be the last.
I have being coming to bayswater medical center for 42yrs. Today will be my last time. I made app with DR ABIOYE AJIOBYE what a terrible experience.i had cov19 I showed him all the correct doucmations from my GOV to recieve me exception for the boaster which I'm intitled to get. DR ABIOYE AJIOBYE refused it saying this is not valid information. DR ABIOYE AJIOBYE then rudely said go see onther dr and kicked me out. I was left disappointed and scared. My wife had exact same documentation she had a different dr who gave the exception np. DR ABIOYE AJIBOYE should not be a dr or serve the public
Rude and unhelpful reception staff.
Doctors contradicted themselves with advice given to me. Not going back, as a business they need to improve and understand that patients are paying customers.
Had a horrible experience with Hilary Snell! Left the centre with tears and my mental health is worse then when i went in. Very unprofessional.
I have to agree with other reviewers. Time management is very poor at this practice. There is not enough front office staff to take calls, check in patients, and book appointments. Today was only one lady and I felt so sorry for her.
The doctor is running around not able to focus on a particular patient, there is only one nurse on duty.
For a centre of this size, you can easily justify more staff. This is my 2nd visit and these are the same issues as my first visit.
Until the centre fixes these issues, I would look elsewhere for a medical centre.

This practice is a disgrace! After having Dr Milne as my GP for several months, who was initially helpful in helping me manage my panic disorder, he suddenly decided to stop seeing me ubruptly which is dangerous. I then spoke to Dr Snell in his absence and she insulted me, a third doctor failed to even get in touch with me. I will be taking legal action in this instance and I highly recommend to anyone to stay clear of this disgraceful practice, not even worthy of one star.
Doctors and staff are excellent. Only issue for me is doctors running overtime. I try to get in on a work break and always get caught out.
Today I called ahead to confirm doctor was on time and still went in 30mins after my appointment time.
Excellent medical centre, the wait is the only issue.
I booked an appointment for my sister on the 5/1/22, she arrived ten minutes early for a12.40 appointment with Dr Ngo she still hadnt.been seen and it was after 2pm, she could not wait any longer, so much wasted time for an elderly person, she sould have been told the doctor was way behind
Have been attending Bayswater Medical for years now and am always happy with the service provided. The reception team are helpful, caring and friendly. The practitioners I have seen always give the utmost care, are companionate and informative!
