27Easy to reserve a car and the free cancellation provides needed flexibility in travelling plans. Only shortfall was the lack of variety of car brands. Given a MG to drive for a 5 door SUV booking. Would say its a poor drive but the outlet looked like most cars were MG brand. Also difficult to fix the child car seat so bring your own along where possible.
I made my booking while overseas for pickup at the Subiaco location. We arrived a bit early and the ladies at the counter were already expecting us and had our car ready. They answered all my questions (including where to get a SIM card) and asked me to call if I needed to extend or shorten the rental period.
As it turned out, we ended up calling and extending the rental by a couple of days. No issues whatsoever.
Returning the car was quick and easy. They explained when I would get my deposit back (it did happen as they said).
The car (a Toyota hatchback hybrid) was great. Clean, functional and very fuel efficient!
I would rent from them again.
Good price, quality clean looking cars in good condition. The only gripe is u still haven't recieved my paperwork via email. I booked the car on the 11th returned the car on the 13th.because their office equipment wasn't working that say I was unable to have a hard copy of my contract. I was told many times it would be sent. I still haven't recieved my paper work and I've returned the car.they said it'll be emailed and it hasn't. Bit of a problem. I think that is really poor quality service.
Really good experience with the No Birds Subiaco branch. I had an issue to resolve and Caitlyn was so helpful. She was a pleasure to deal with and even though it was busy, she gave me plenty time and attention. Great staff member to deal with!
Amazing spot for last minute rental! Booked less than 24hrs in advance, got a brand new ASX with only 25kms on the clock for only $55per day absolutely spotless inside as no one had driven it prior. Nice convenient location, staff were super friendly with no up selling. Couldn’t rate No Birds highly enough after having bad experiences with Hertz, Apollo & Budget.
I highly recommend No Birds hire in Subiaco.

Online Booking is a hassle free process. Prices are very competitive and fleet of cars is pretty good. Got cars a couple of times that were not clean though managed to drive it around and once had no windshield wiper fluid, I'd rather not bother about these for the price and service received. Deposit refund is seamless as well and have never had any issues or suprise deductions or charges. Staff is friendly and prompt during both pickup and drop off. Have returned car before the hire period and got proportionate refund too. Extending the hire by a couple of days turned out good and hassle free as well.
Great hassle free service, most affordable prices and best customer service! By far the best car rental company I’ve used so far! I’ll use them again.
This is not a cheap rental, unless you want 2000 taken from your account as bond.they essentially manipulate you into paying up to 80% more for insurance for your rental.i. E. $19 a day becomes $33 a day.be very cautious.not a good rental place

When we returned a car, found a dent on the top of front truck. Understand there was a damage (photo attached), happy to repair and pay what is reasonable. We got a quote from our own engineer to fix for $120-$270, however Bayswater Subiaco charged us $800 without consulting it with us and without quotation. (I called and advised the lady that we got quotations and happy to fix with our engineer, she said she will call me back to discuss further. She didn't call me back but send us statement taking $800 from our credit card. Her excuse not calling me back was that I was not the person who actually rent the car but my husband.)
I even asked her that 'if you have a dent on your car, would you pay $800 for it? '. She couldn't answer on my questions.
Increasing revenue from unreasonably priced damage claim is not acceptable and it should be discouraged and regulated by the rental industry regulator.
Very disappointed experiencing this in Australia where I believe most of companies do the right thing by customers.
Terrible customer service and untrustworthy! We were double-charged when we hired our car and charged for a car seat we never hired. We were not told, we discovered it when we were left high and dry on our holiday over New Years. They told us we would be refunded in 2-5 days and 6 working days later, we are told it is still being processed (up to a further 10 days) and that it is not their problem. On top of that, they made it very difficult for us to make a formal complaint. By the time our money is returned, we will have returned the car and returned back from our holiday! Very frustrating and disappointing. My family and extended family use them every time we come from Melbourne for Christmas, sadly we will not be using them again.
Friendly staff, clean reliable cars and the rental process has over the last 3 times been quick and efficient. Well done!
Bird warning!
I topped up fuel, full, in the vehicle. Drove 300 m to the rental station in Subiaco. Left the vehicle after hours. Next day I was charged for fuel. When I called up and wondered why this was, I got the answer: -We don't top up the vehicle fuel, we use the fuel gauge to measure how full it is.
Well, it is a known symptom on a fuel gauge that does not flicker during driving, that there is a delay in movement. If you want to use the fuel gauge for precision measuring you need to wait 5-10 minutes until it has stabilised.
I was told that I could send in the receipt, but the person I spoke to could not give me an email address.

1) After returning the vehicle, we were on the way to catch the plane. The taxi dispatched called our cab driver to notify us that the rental staff found my hand phone in the vehicle. Thank you to the lady that was on duty in the afternoon of 13 June 2018, that we save hundreds of dollars from just getting my phone back.
2) I got a Corolla Sedan and there was no issue with the vehicle. The ride was smooth and car was received clean. The Administrative process was smooth, no additional hidden cost. Rates as per what we saw on the website.
3) On my plane flight to Perth, an Australian passenger beside me asked which car rental I was using. And he stated I had made the correct choice for using "No Birds". I think the "locals" know best, and since they recommend "no birds", I think this is a right choice for tourist like me as well.
Highly recommend from me, affordable price compared to other rental. Stay safe within the speed limits when u drive.
Do yourself a favour when personally hiring a car and don’t pay ridiculous prices for a run around. Good location, cars are well looked after and run well. Staff are well mannered and genuinely help you not just push you through like other places.
Apart from having to wait for the car to be return from the customer, overall experience, Great and Professional!

Incredibly rude female staff member who cancelled my booking and left me on the street after just flying in to Perth, as I only had an Amex Card and wouldn’t accept my partners MasterCard as she wasn’t with me. Rude. Inconsiderate. Unprofessional.
Great value for money. The car was brand new and much less expensive with full insurance coverage than another car I rented elsewhere with basic coverage. Highly recommended.
