Bayside Barista reviews
71 The food was as always delicious. I had the beetroot cured salmon, which I couldn't fault, but the serving size was very small. I am not a big eater, but these 4 tiny, skinny slithers left me wanting/needing more. A filler of some kind, perhaps fingers of toasted sour dough, and a few more slices of the delicious salmon.
Atmosphere lost a star due to the lack of ceiling fans.two is not enough it was very hot sitting teasingly beside but not in front of the tiny iced water air cooler.
Came here on a summer afternoon, kilometres away from Perth city centre.
I got a long black in a mug with chocolate cake. The long black in a mug likely had much more water in proportion, hence tasted very mild despite the aroma. First sniff was pleasant with soft notes. I was unable to discern the coffee notes on this occasion. The added water was hot. In hindsight, I should have specified adding room temperature water, which would greatly help with tasting. However, the coffee was a great pairing with the chocolate cake despite the summer heat.
All in all, I had a fantastic chat with Kesh. Worth the entire journey down. It was a pleasure
Repeat visit for us to this bayside gem. Relaxed ambience, friendly staff and amazing food and coffee. We visited for breakfast specifically to try the special - Indian lentils with poached eggs, hung yoghurt and pickled radish. Simply one of the best dishes we’ve had - delicious and perfect combination of flavours. The rest of the menu looks incredible, too. Will be back.
A coeliac's best spot to eat out South of Perth and not get glutenned. Prices are pretty high now. Everything is add on. For example it's over $20 for a burger, plus $7 for chips, plus $2 for sauce. Portuguese eggs come with one small piece of toast. Next time I would order with a side of toast. Staff and service are great. Coffee is perfect!
Went here for brunch. A lovely cosy atmosphere, however was a little warm, but the service was absolutely lovely, and the food was gluten free which I was so happy about as a person with celiac disease. Parking is limited.
Always a beautiful place to eat, service is absolutely amazing. My partner is coeliac and vegetarian and this is one of the only places i dont have to worry about because there is always something she can have:)
The Cheese Burger is perfect, the Chefs are friendly and excited about their food. The owner is equally energetic and is a breath of fresh air. Go and try this place, you won’t be disappointed
Good quality, gluten-free food!
A lovely place for a healthy, affordable lunch.
Best vegan food options and customer service I've experienced in Australia!
Highly recommend the 'Goodness Bowl'.
Thank you
So many options that are automatically gluten free! The food came out really quick, and even the presentation was amazing. The breakfast burger has LOTS of bacon which I was very impressed with. The only thing I would like to see is oat milk in the milk options. This is the first but definitely not the last time coming here.
Beautiful gluten free food in a relaxing atmosphere. It's always nice to see the variety of cakes and slices on display.
Today was my first time dining at BB.
Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, and oh so delicious food.
Thank you
A very pleasant local bakery and cafe on the corner of Safety Bay Road and Penguin Road in Safety Bay. Menu is all-day breakfast and lunch faire. Takeaway and dine in. Prices are on the high side of reasonable. Food quality is excellent. Parking can be challenging in a small busy shopping centre. Closes at 2: 30pm most days. Very kid-friendly inside play area.
Outstanding food and coffee. Friendly efficient service. The croquette dish was SO delicious. Fabulous fabulous fabulous
I've just come back from Bayside Barista. I ordered the Chicken Maryland. A bit boring, you may think. Not at all! This was the best chicken dish I have ever eaten. Delightful! A real tribute to chicken. It brought back memories of childhood roast chicken; those wonderful BBQ chickens before the supermarkets got into the act; chicken soup. Every wonderful chicken experience I've ever had was summed up and celebrated in this unapologetic tribute to the humble chook. Awesome!
Since hearing they have a new head chef, Ralph, I've eaten a number of meals at Bayside. Each one has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience, flavour adventures really. Lovely staff too.
Lovely food.
I have had the shakshuka (beans with egg) YUM. Chilli infused scrambled eggs YUM. Bayside omelette (bacon, mushies and tom) YUM. Plus the beef burger NOT SO YUM.
My sister loves the popovers.
Definitely recommend.
Gets busy so probs worth booking if you can.
Great coffee, fantastic staff and delicious food. Also very clean, will be coming back again.
Thank you! Thank you Thank you! Bayside barista got me in on short notice for fathers day lunch. The food was amazing customer service was good and fair priced. I have celiac disease and it was so nice and refreshing to be able to pick what I wanted not what was GF and to not have to ask questions on cross contamination. My non celiac family loved the food too. Definetely will be back to try other food options.
100% gluten free menu and it is all so good.
Coffee is very good and the iced chocolate are delish as well.
Always a couple of specials up on the wall to check out.
I had saffron risotto with braised Lamb shoulder with feta and gremolata. Perfect.
Good customer service, only issue with service is that while you wait for a table the only place to stand is outside
Coffee was really good
The chocolate milkshake was passable
The food was bad, no seasoning on any meal or any part of the meal. The bacon burnt or raw there was no in-between. The potato croquette was tasteless and bland, the side of mushrooms was cold
Side of hash was over cooked and inedible
Was really looking forward to being able to recommend a coeliac friendly Cafe to my dad but will not be doing that now
