Get ready to figure out your own way inside your room because reception doesnt help and makes you figure it out yourself. Didnt realise after driving 8 hours to then having to figure out this maze to my room. Bed hasnt been changed in 70 years, bathroom is still stuck in 1910s. Plenty of rules not to do but not enough hospitality for the room itself. Not worth the money. Wouldve been comfier to sleep in our car at a park. Im from melbourne victoria and a hotel in doveton would be nicer than this joint.

Booked for 2 nights, left after the first night! Bed was a disaster, no soap, pool not suitable for older people.

Highly recommended. Large rooms, great cooking and dinner space in room and in resort.

Clean and large pool.

Great location.

Fresh linen pillows and towels.

Great check in process.

Would recommended rooms facing water for couples to enjoy drink on your doorstep.

Not my favourite place to stay after the long drive up from Perth.
Seemed enough but the facilities are in need of some care and attention.
Corroded tiles around the bathroom basin and a noisey bed in need of some TLC.

Suited to FIFO workers or something but not for holiday makers or families. Thin walls so could hear the drunk guy behind our bed.

Easy check in process.

Dodgy! Do not book here. Stated free cancellation on their website, booked in the morning and cancelled less than 12 hours later due to change of travel arrangements and they charged us the full amount. They also wouldn't return any of my emails or calls when we questioned their policy. Their bookings state if there are any sort of issues at their discretion they will charge your card in excess of $150 after your stay. Money grabbing and not customer friendly at all. Be warned.

The bed & mattress was the worst I've ever slept on & should be replaced. The bathroom was in need of a thorough clean with the basin tap leaking constantly & tapware badly corroded. I don't think any maintenance has been done for some time. It's definitely a budget stay.
Would not recommend you stay here.

Have been staying here regularly through work. The owner Clint is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and is perfectly fine for what I need it for. You could not be closer to the ocean and everything is in walking distance. Can't wait to take the family for a holiday here.

Good place to stay in Denham. The apartment is clean and has necessary facilities. The biggest minus is extremely poor WiFi especially during the evening hours when all guests are in. Practically non existing. In the morning it's quite OK which points to very limited bandwidth.

We didn't interact with anyone on the property, the key was in a little lock box on arrival. Room was modest but clean and had a lovely ocean view. Parking is conveniently right in front of the room. There was a small kitchenette with everything we needed to cook a meal. Location is great, walking distance to the little town area, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Update: three weeks later, the bug bite marks are still there.

The location is lovely but the rooms need to be updated. A message via booking.com stated their rooms are newly renovated. Curtain rods were rusted. So I'm really not sure what that actually means.

The shower floor wasn't angled well and water pools. The floor of the room was sandy and sticky - needs sweeping and mopping. And well, maintenance.

One of the three beds was infested with bugs - bed bugs or chiggers. Not sure which, but lots of angry red bites (not sandfly/mosquito).

Check in and out were contactless. Rooms were left unlocked with the keys on the counter. There's a phone number for service and they offer to check the shed for nay cooking utensil that we might need that isnt in the room.

Wifi available, but it is spotty.

Decent water pressure.

Small saltwater pool, but good for a dip to cool off in.

Parking is in front of most units, a short distance away for a few, but still near. The kerb is pretty steep, so if you're not in a 4wd, do take it an an angle to avoid scrapes.

Superb location. Try to get the rooms with a seaside view. The owner is a bit grumpy but it's not that bad. The internet comes and goes

Rooms were a little dusty in places. Service there was a lack of couldn't get hold of anyone. They have you phone numbers but there was no cellular reception in the area and no one in the office when I look. Wi-fi was decent. The location is fantastic right on the water front.

Tried to contact accommodations prior to arrival to check if we could change the date of stay due to a member of our group testing positive to covid. After several unanswered phone calls and messages we finally got a reply through Booking.com that it was non refundable. We accept that but a response from hotel would of been better way to handle. After speaking with others I would not recommend staying as they take full payment upfront and do not offer refund or alterations to booking. When a place says that it is staffed check with locals. As this place is not staffed on site but remotely. Owners do not live on premises but claim they do. Would be zero star but have to give 1.

Facilities were good and clean and we can not fault it at all. Nice pool and close to the ocean with stunning views. Really nice location.
Only issue was the owners attitude towards us. We were told quite harshly that we parked in the wrong area, which was immediately corrected as I understood his concern, but it was his attitude towards us that spoiled the whole stay. Then being threatened with evicting us at 21: 30 at night as he does not want to be argued with, topped it for me. His words were "he does not need our money". Maybe that is what the public should acknowledge and NOT extend him the curtesy of using his facility as he "does not need the money" and has a supporting attitude to add to it.
Very disappointing to say the least.

This place need to be reported to Work Safe Australia.
It needs inspection by WorkSafe Officer.
What kind of business you are running here?

Bugs and insects everywhere even in dining room, bedroom.

WorkSafe Australia needs to have a investigation to Shut this place down.

Only good thing about this is Location.

Next to 5 Star Beach.

Extremely rude owner. We booked the rooms through booking.com and the checkout time was clearly mentioned as 10: 00 AM. At 9.00AM while we were having breakfast and packing up, we were asked to check-out by one of the cleaning ladies. We showed her the email from booking.com. 5 mins later, the owner came rushing into the room swearing that we threatened the cleaning ladies. My friends were having breakfast and they were dragged out from the room and thrown towards the glass door. We had to leave the place with our plates on the table.

The owner didn’t listen to what we had to say and blindly said things like, “this is Australia, you can’t threaten girls like that”. We never made a single threat, all we did was show her the email. The owner didn’t even take the time to hear what we had to say. Zero professionalism and the fact that he’s actually working in hospitality is shocking. The mistake is on their part, that they haven’t updated their checkout times on booking.com.
The owner made sure to express his racist traits.

Ruined our holiday. If you plan on staying in Denham, please look elsewhere.

Where do I even start? The place needs some major upkeep! Mouldy bathroom, limited cutlery and plates. The owners live on site and their family and friends were staying during our visit. The kids were running around all hours, screaming, whistling loudly, yelling and riding their bikes and scooters through the courtyard (which is a no no on the massive list of do nots in the rooms). The pool wasn’t available to be used from 9am-4pm one day and 1pm onwards the next. We didn’t get told til the morning of.
We stayed here the same time last year and there were pool chair covers- these weren’t around this year! The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t fixed from the year before! The cleaners doors bang at all hours and wake you up. The Wi-Fi is basically non existent! So don’t bother bringing work with you.

Wonderful family holiday. Kids loved the pool and it’s a perfect location, walking distance to everything in town. Rooms were spotless and kitted out with everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!
