Consistently good fish and chips. I couldn't fault it if I tried. Friendly service, quickly prepared exactly how you like. I would add more stars if I could! Don't forget the pineapple fritters!

Chips were clearly cooked in old oil, they didn't smell fresh, weren't crispy but soggy and lots of breadcrumbs from leftover oil. Seriously the worse chips I've ever seen. Fish, crab stick and dim sims were average. Certainly not the best compared to other fish and chips.

First time visit good value nice staff, friendly an informative, make potato cakes which are crumbed mash potatoes patties, potato scallops and hand cut chips. Had the flake, potato cakes, potato scallops and deep fried dim sums, partner had the flake an chips.

First timer and travelled from 20mins away. Was a Friday night so I rang and ordered 45 mins in advance. Arrived and not yet cooked. Apologies. Fish was a reasonable size but thin and a bit oily. At $12.80 a piece was more expensive that what I usually pay for snapper. Chips were old, oily and soggy. First and last time.

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. Plus loads more as well. The owners are great people who go out of their way for you.

Order the chips and order more than you'll need. They are suuuuuperb.

First time tonight got fish and chips from here. Beautiful fish, batter done to perfection, chips a little bit over cooked for me but some people like them like that. Im not complaining I will be going back also staff very friendly

Will never ever eat at this place. They stuffed me over. Took my order waited the 20mins get there and they wanted me to wait another 20mins because they never put my order in. Not the only person this place has done it too. I know of 5 other people this place has stuffed over. Not to mention that when I walked in it was the dirtiest place ever. The staff do not use gloves to handle the food. Not once did I see anyone wash there hands

Tried every fish and chips shop in the area but this is by far the best, the batter doesn't fall off the fish and as others have said the chips are made on site.

Best tasting fish and chips in Perth. I give it 4 stars because there are a couple of things that could be better. The first is that they close far too early in the evening and the second is that the portion sizes are very inconsistent. I dont think they measure the chips which makes it difficult to know how much to order, especially if it is for a group.

The last shop in Perth selling the classic tasting fish and chips that take many back to the 60's and 70's. My Grandparents, parents and myself all where regular customers for decades. I moved away from the area some years ago but by chance called by in December 2019. Nothing has changed. Still the great tasting Fish n Chips I remember. I live 5km away and have a lot of choices closer to home but I now travel the distance for the best Fish N Chips. They stay warm as they are still wrapped in butchers paper, the chips are still freshly prepared on site and the fish is fresh with the batter second to none. Friendly service and one Lady still works there after 50 plus years. Amazing

Moved into the area around 3 years ago and ever since the first time I gave Bassendean seafoods a go, I won’t go anywhere else. Great servings, delicious crispy gummy shark with the perfect amount of batter for a great price. Keep up the good work!

Best fish and chips I have tasted in a long time! The portions are awesomely big, real prawns not processed and taste great. Most of the time fresh lemons available. Quick turn around times but if busy you may have to wait, order ahead saves time. The price is really good.:)
