Ordered from here tonight.
Had the Szechuan lamb, garlic chicken and the Special chili and garlic fried rice.
Wasn't expecting a great deal but man was I blown away!
Will order from here again and again.

First time ordering food from here and definitely not disappointed! The food is amazing and even the kids are eating it! Thank you so much Bassendean Oriental!

My go to for a good quality and descent priced meal. Owners are always friendly and Eddie the chief/owner always comes out from the kitchen to say hello to me and my family. Always feel welcomed and satisfied. Thank you

Great place to go for lunch. Looks ordinary on outside but food is great. Always super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Hope to have dinner there too.

Not good Beef Satay was tough, could not even chew it.
Coconut Prawns tasteless no flavour very watery.
Chicken was ok will think twice about ordering again.

This used to be our go-to place whenever we wanted restaurant food. Sadly the last couple of times in the last two months and it is not as good as it once was. The flavour is still there, but the texture no longer is. The meat (especially chicken) is stringy and rubbery. It now tastes like they are microwaving it to re-heat it. We will likely go back at some point to see if its improved, but are no longer in a rush to want to eat here like we once did.

Horrible food, bland and pork was full of fats! Barely any meat just chunks of pork fat! Not recommended!

Love this place, brilliant tasting food. Most places overdo it with spices, here put in a mouthful its perfect

Run by husband and wife. The foods are great and the also the service. They will serve you a plate of shrimp crackers as annopenong. Expect big portions with lots of fresh indregients. The restaurant is easy to be noticed and near to Bassendean train station, walkable I mean.

I ordered 3 dishes. Orange chicken very dry and overcooked but the orange sauce was great. San choy bow.one bite was too much.disgusting! Beef and potato not nice even smells horrid.
So definitely a no from me.

Food is good every time we go there. Staff are friendly, and always help with us changing dishes and things. Always go here when family is in town!

Went for tea tonight starving.absolutly not happy. Veg chow mein was yukk.even tho I had specifically said chicken chow mein. No love put into that cook up.the price was a rip off.plus we ate in the air con was awfull.i couldn't wait to leave.i believe in quality

Well that was very disappointing, first time ordering from Bassendean Oriental, i ordered prawn cocktail, (good size serving but very average, pretty tasteless), i also ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork from the Luncheon/Dinner section. So, it says all meals from this section come with a choice of either steamed or fried rice so i asked for fried rice with it.
When i opened my order all i got was a container full of soggy sweet and sour pork, no rice at all.
Mmmm, don't think i will be going back

Always great going here, Eddie and his staff are very accommodating, it's never noisy and we always enjoy the food no matter what we order.

Great food, good price, very friendly staff. I've eaten at some of the so called best Chinese food places in the city (Perth). Sorry Perth. Eddie's cooking beats yours hands down.

Ordered over a hour ago and it's still not ready! Won't be using the online ordering system through menu log again, terrible.

I recently ordered a meal online, veg chow mein, vegetable fried rice.
It would have to be one of the most appalling meals and waste of money, very thing went into the bin.bitterly disappointed and would recomend order with caution.

Never ever order from here I am sick of ever time I order from them the order is always wrong ALL THE TIME

My favourite Chinese restaurant, food is always fresh and on time, staff are always friendly and helpful. I have never encountered a problem in my 6 years of ordering here, whether it's pickup, dine in or delivery. Would strongly recommend to anyone as a cheap, tasty, quick meal!
