We couldn’t have been happier with this venue for our wedding. The property has so many options for your ceremony and reception, as well as perfect spots for photos. The sunsets here are next level!
What really makes this place so special though, is the team that work there. Showcase catering are amazing, their incredible food only surpassed by the team that work on the day. They were so lovely to work with, fairly priced and so helpful.
Leanne from Oborne Events is a walking advert for this venue. I would recommend having her handle everything in the lead up and on the day; she coordinated all of our vendors, set up everything on the day and is so calming. I trusted her completely and she managed to take my vision and bring it to life, and then some. As this venue is a blank canvas (a stunning one) you can really make it yours with all of your vendors; everyone we used had been there before, and couldn’t have recommended Barrett Lane and Leanne more which was so reassuring.
Book this place fast as it books up so quickly - you will not regret it!

Hi, I'm Naz! I am commenting as a professional in the wedding industry. I had an amazing experience shooting at Barrett Lane, which allowed us to captured some am amazing photos and Barrett Lane just made the wedding reception remarkable.

While the venue was stunning and beautiful, Leanne is the real reason I’m giving this venue 5 stars.

I can’t even begin to imagine how differently our wedding might have turned out, had we not had Leanne. We hired Leanne as our wedding planner for the day of our wedding as well, and both my husband and I agreed it was the best money we spent. Leanne is a pro and knows what she’s doing. She always went above and beyond to ensure we had the most perfect day. No detail was spared.

Separate to the day, Leanne was incredible in the lead up to our big day too. She was completely across everything - more than I was! Every single vendor we used came recommended by Leanne and it made our life so much easier.

Do yourself a favour and book your wedding at Barrett Lane, and make sure you pay extra to hire Leanne for the day of the wedding. It will be the best decision you ever make.

The Barrett Lane team (particularly Leanne from Oborne Weddings & Events and Daniel from Showcase Catering) did an amazing job for our wedding.

Leanne was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and was very patient in answering any and all questions we had. On the day she put in a lot of work behind the scenes setting up, preparing grazing boards and styling the venue for us. She really made everything come together without any issues, everything was seamless. Our day would not have been so easy without all of her help, we had absolutely nothing to worry about (even the rain) thanks to her!

Daniel was also so easy to work with. He was very flexible with guest numbers and happy to help work around any dietary requirements. Everyone commented on how great the food was and how MUCH food there was- nobody went hungry! His team there on the day were amazing too - they were all so friendly and really happy to help with anything.

Barrett Lane itself is a great spot with beautiful gardens and scenery. With the location and the team we would highly recommend.

We had our end of year celebration event at Barrett Lane and it was fantastic! A night we will remember forever! Leanne was delightful to deal with! It was literally stress free. Leanne is a celebration specialist and knew the best way to do everything! We were able to BYO alcohol and she even told us how much to buy and what to buy. Leanne created an incredible masterpiece of a grazing platter! So generous, there was even food leftover despite our guests all having enough to eat. She even decorated and styled the space so it looked beautiful! All I had to do was rock up and have a great time with the guests! Literally the best party I could have asked for. She is so knowledgable, accommodating, professional and an absolutely gorgeous person inside and out. I could not recommend her highly enough! That party will be talked about for years to come! Thank you Leanne! We love you! I can see why everyone gives you rave reviews! Xx

Barrett Lane could not have been a more perfect location for our wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception on the lawn under the festoon lights - the garden setting felt cosy, relaxed, and magical and was such a big hit with everyone! Leanne the coordinator was amazing to deal with. Very responsive, set everything up beautifully without us having to provide too much direction, and lovely and friendly. The catering by Showcase Catering was also phenomenal. Great food, friendly and attentive waitstaff who bantered with the guests. Dont be fooled - it may seem like a smaller, less polished set up than some of the bigger wineries but these guys function like a well oiled machine. Just a fantastic team all round. Thanks so much for making our day extra special

Leanne and her amazing team at Barrett Lane, thank you so much! You all made sure that my besties wedding went off without a hitch. The staff made sure everyone on the bridal party did not miss the out on all the delicious canapés and drinks while our photos were being done. And during the reception we wanted for nothing as the staff anticipated all our needs. I will be recommending Barrett Lane to anyone one that needs a function centre.

Barrett Lane Function Centre is an amazing place to have an intimate wedding. A rustic winter wedding with the autumn coloured leaves were breathtaking. Even though it rained and our ceremony couldn't take place outside, the inside was still a beautiful place to have it.
After the ceremony the rain stopped and we were able to have gorgeous photos in the garden and the vineyard. As the day went on the fog started creeping in and it made for more fantastic photos.
Leanne who organises the weddings went above and beyond to make our day drama free. Nothing was too hard for her. She set everything up the way we had dreamed. Absolutely flawless! We can't recommend Barrett lane and Leanne enough. A must for an intimate rustic wedding.

I don't think our wedding day would have been so perfect if it was not for this venue and the vendors associated with it! It is such a stunning place and was perfect for our wedding day. As soon as we walked in and met Leanne, we felt this was the right venue for us.

Leanne, as the event coordinator helped make the process fun and easy and we hired her to be our day coordinator on the day, and I highly recommend. She did such an amazing job at styling and we are still getting told. How beautiful everything was.

The caters that come with the venue are absolutely amazing! I have seen bad reviews regarding the owner but we met them a few times and they were lovely and no issues on the night. Highly recommend Barrett Lane, Leanne Oborne and Showcase Catering! Thank you x1000 for contributing to what was such an am amazing day for us:)

We had our wedding here in Feb 2020. It was incredible. The grounds were immaculate. The day was incredibly smooth thanks to their preferred catering team Showcase catering. Nothing was too hard
