Barn Hill Beach Side Station Stay

Wild and magnificent beaches. Locations on the unconnected side are fine. Those on the connection side seemed denser to me. Outdoor toilet

Great spot on the ocean. Staff work hard to keep the place clean as its a big area. Lots of different rustic toilets and showers.
10k dirt Rd in to the station.
Was dry and warm but plenty of shade. Big camping spots. Easy walk to the beach.

Great place in a great location. Many camping options and right on the beach. Highly recommend.

Not bad. A little dusty for me, but does have a nice appeal about it. Lots of shade in powered areas & facilities though dated do have a unique rustic appeal about them.
Beach is a little walk down a stair case & is quite appealing. Can't drive on beach unless launching a boat, but understand why. Lots to entertain at night & pizza excellent. Bread cooked on site as well as other meals being provided for dinner. Track in could do with a grader as quite a few corrugations.
All in all, would recommend if only just to visit.

Stayed 3 nights mid August on unpowered site in overflow, plenty of room. Beaches are excellent, great swimming and beautiful rocks. Amenities block was unroofed (and clean) which was a perfect novelty for the warm weather. Laid back friendly atmosphere, with lots of happy children in the playground. Pizza was delicious, and the staff were all cheerful and helpful. Would stay again for the beaches alone.

Staff friendly, but in all honesty a tad disappointed. Road in needs grading
access to beach for older folks very hard. Amenities clean but too rustic as far as privacy is concerned.electricity kept tripping out & had to get a double adapter from groundsman for the tap as not enough taps. Probably best suited for younger folk or travellers who don't mind doing it rough! Beach stunning with red cliffs, white sand & blue water a positive!

Very rustic. Very special. The road in is different! But drive slowly and you will get there!
Some sites are huge, some squashy. Luck of the draw. A big rig would struggle in some of the sites.
The situation is fabulous. The staff was very helpful. Shop food, excellent. Vanilla slices great value.

Great sea side camping. Some powered sites. Great daily bread and pizzas, live local music and other activities, beach access very soft

Great station stay!
We had an incredible cliff top view, a lovely outdoor shower and to top it off we have freshly baked bread and cafe coffee in the morning.

We booked the front row in the unpowered section. Fantastic sunset views, good sites with water, our 3rd visit. Could do with safer beach access from this area but still manageable. Lovely beaches for swimming, walking to see the amazing rock formations.

Had a fantastic time here. We were unpowered but there was a tap near our site to hook up water which was awesome. Kids loved the playground and the cafe was great.

Top spot beautiful beach, relaxing, kids playground very well used, delicious fresh food at kiosk, good sites recommend it. Also magnificent sunsets. Also pizza yum

"it depends doesn't it on wheather or not we get a genuine ocean view site for $45 with our great big caravan or if we are honest that we've come with a rooftent ute and get a rather sad looking group of trees for our veiw?

P. S there's no camp kitchen, be wary of sites 98 & 97.

The Beach speaks for its self pure perfection.

Totally disappointed, booked 6 months in advance, receipt says shady site with trees. Ended up on a sand patch miles from the toilets, 40 m to power box, and right next to filleting table.
Not enough toilets or showers, and caretakers residence is a mess.
People who booked 2 weeks ago got premium sites. Beautiful location, but place needs some work.

Not a place we would return to. Been there, not interested to return. False advertising re pizza. Need to keep sight updated

Stayed here as a family of 6, we had a powered site for the caravan.
This park is great!
Very clean, did not see one bit of rubbish, other guests were very respectful also with keeping the space clean.
Several toilets and showers to use.
Many taps around, and also an outdoor shower/tap to rinse off the sand as you come back from the beach.
Easy beach access, 5 minute walk from the site. And the beaches are amazing!
Kids play area is quite large, with plenty for them to keep busy. They also had some pet Guinea pigs too.
There’s a cafe there that sells coffee and homemade slices.
Also sell some basic groceries too if you end up running low.
A very relaxed family feel park.
Dogs were welcome too!
Keep in mind that if you like to party, or have a few drinks late at night with your music loud, that this probably isn’t the place for you.

Stunning location. Showers and toilets. No camp kitchen. Small shop and coffees. Half shady spots, some great beach view spots. Staff could be friendlier.

Quite pretty, right on the beach, nice trees. But my family and I had a meeting that we really needed to attend and when we rung up prior we were promised internet, got there and there was no service. For the inconvenience, I'm giving this caravan park a medium rating, but if you're planning to stay here, it looks beautiful and abundant in amenities.

Beautiful scenery. Basic amenities the only real issue is intermittent internet coverage. Great iced coffee and vanilla slices.
