Absolutely love this place. Staff are incredible and the food is outsanding. We have dined in some extremely highly rated restaurants in major cities and can honestly say Bali Hai us up there with the best. When in Broome this is a must to dine at.

Easily the best food in Broome. Service is fantastig and food is amazing. Prices are also very reasonable.

The service was friendly professional and the food was delectable. The surf and turf was the highlight of our meal. The Hereford eye fillet melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection velvety silky and smooth like butter. The most amazing steak I have ever eaten. We also had the coffin bay oysters small but very tasty and the duck liver pate which was amazing. Ended with the Lavender creme brulee.
Was a perfect dinner and would highly recommend to all to visit this restaurant. We will definitely visit again. Keep up the incredible work guys you are absolutely killing it in Broome. Thank you.

We had a wonderful evening at Bali Hai Cafe. The food was delicious. Perhaps if you are requiring a vegetarian or vegetarian/gluten free meal ask if they have a vegan or vegetarian menu. Alternatively, go with the delicious vegetarian/gf arancini balls, as a main, and have desert, yum ;)

Outdoor dining was our choice and it was very pleasant. Good food and the wine recommended by the waitress was an excellent match. Love the wicker-work bird cages used as light fittings.

Very polite, efficient staff. A lovely setting, peaceful and quiet and easy to hear your partner talk. Pretty gardens and delicious food. A limited menu done well. About $55 per main. Vegan chocolate mousse desert super tasty and I'm not vegan. Easy access via Broome local bus service, restaurant in the Cable Beach area.

The best dinner we have had for a long time. It was very special and the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.

Great service and atmosphere but the food was disappointing. Cold dumplings and weird tasting plate. Barramundi & lentils as a main didn’t work, trying to be too creative for their own good. Go to Matsos instead!

First night dinner in Broome and this was a great find. The staff were lovely and friendly and happy to share their picks about where to eat. The food here was delicious and fresh.

A delicious dinner for our family! Staff were super pleasant and efficient even when we arrived without a booking. Food (pork belly, snapper and kids meal) was very good. Good menu for those with food allergies. Would recommend!

From the first greeting to the moment we paid our bill we can not fault the service. The service was incredible with a special shout out to Nancy, what a delight to have her look after us. The food was the best we have had in Broome, the Surf and Turf entree, duck main truly was perfect. The dessert cocktails are a perfect way to finish the experience with the cocktail chap working his magic. We will be back. Thank you again chefs, Cocktail Chap and Nancy an absolute percent experience.

Outstanding food and service! Having our wedding at our favourite dining place in Broome was no brainer for us and as always, Kate and her team were exceptional! All meals were delivered on time, all at once with amazing delicious flavours and presentation.

Not often to leave comments here but this place! The food! The staff! The ambience! Have to go if you’re in Broome! The eye fillet, duck breast and barramundi just melt in your mouth. Amazing desert too by the way. Glad we found that place!

Best restaurant I've ever been to! My wife and I had the surf'n'turf and it was magnificent. Probably the best meal either of us have ever had! And the customer service was impeccable (friendly yet professional). Alice, Guia, Chloe and Coco were all amazing! We'd eat here every night if we could. Can't recommend it highly enough:)

Fantastic, attentive service. Sunday roast was beautiful with everthing cooked perfectly. Will be a regular here for sure.

Enjoyed our night at the Bali Hai. We had a great eye fillet with prawns and scallops cooked perfectly. A surprising good wine list. It was very busy but we got our food quickly and service was great.

Should have been made aware of 20% public holiday surcharge as I would have just skipped the meal and gone and eaten at night markets. Service was good, online menu didn't match the menu we had. Would have expected more Asian dishes with the name Bali Hai. Tap water tasted disgusting and not drinkable. Glasses were dirty. Tables were at the weirdest height for eating. Everything was just not right. If you want to be charging top dollar for your food then make sure everything is perfect. Happy to pay these prices when the food represents value for money. Lamb loin was also over cooked, I thought as we weren't asked for what cooking temp we would like it the chef would have known how to cook it to at medium, not road kill in places. I don't know how they over cooked sous vide chicken is a skill I can't understand.also remove the skin instead of serving it soggy. Service was very good.

We had to book a table a few days in advance… now we see why. The food here is sensational. The staff are awesome and make you feel so welcome. The surf and turf … omfg. The tasting platter of fish, beef and duck was amazing. So good in fact we went back for our last night in Broome dinner. Definitely add this to your must do’s when in Broome.
