Baldivis Children’s Forest reviews
12 Been here a heap of times great place for kids and adults to get a slice of the Australian outdoors.
The wetland walk is the best. Be sure to walk very quiet for a good chance to see a kangaroo in action or even a snake!
A bush walking experience for younger ones. The main part is a big under cover area with tables and a huge snake statue which is a little out of date. Seems like it's for a school camp. The toilet facilities are good. Bring some food and have it on the tables. There is lighting but not really recommended to come here at night (maybe for teenagers)
Enjoyed Mother’s Day morning tea here
Nice being out In nature with wildlife, a few different walking trails to explore
Has accessible toilets
I took my 2.5 year old today and ventured down to the wetlands. Very interesting location in the bush. Lots of cute spiders and webs in the wetlands so be aware of where you are walking, but adds to the atmosphere. Signage on the trails was badly faded and mostly illegible and a map of the smaller trails needs to be accessible somewhere onsite. Suggest some "you are here" signs along the trails to be added and visitors to download the maps off their website or take a photo of the map at the tower before you head out and end up on a long walk you didn't intend to do. Great for exercise with the hill to walk up and back from the bottom car park as gate is sometimes closed so you can't drive up to the higher car park.
Baldivis children's forest was awesome fun for the little one! BBQ available, toilets. Plenty of different tracks and trees to climb, definitely has awesome plans for future expansion
Lovely and Nice forests with plenty of space and walking trails. Had a Mother's Day event here by the local volunteer community and it was awesome!
Building a cubby, mud kitchen, crafts for mother's day and plenty of scenic views for nice photography.
Will come back to explore more for sure!
It was ok. The signs need to be updated and nature playground should be built somewhere. My 3 and 2 year old loved walking around but I think it just needs a bit of love and it would be fantastic
Always locked gates and a long walk up to the children's area, so if and when something goes awray, your are by yourself unless you can summon help and the phone signal can be very weak at times.
Not recommended for children under 10 or the infirm or disabled.
A nice bushwalk with the kids, no ammenities like toilet or water fountain though. No posts/directions. Nice undercover area with a book swap station.
Great day out with my daughters school. Kids were taught some Indigenous painting and had a cubby building activity
It's sweet! Large undercover picnic table and chairs. Undercover electric BBQ all enclosed in Nature! Road in is unsealed and a little rough!
Thought this was more of a play area for kids. It's a conservation reserve which is a great idea but not what we were looking for.
