Baker's House

Came for a family member's birthday. Was very spacious, indoor and outdoor spaces, a playground, wheelchair accessible, just a really nice place in general. Two separate rooms - kitchen and main room. Would definitely come back.

Good reserve and community center. Ample parking and tidy rooms, kitchen. Highly recommend.

Beautiful park area and the community centre is a great place for engagement parties and birthday parties. It's nice and new and always kept clean. The staff are good to deal with too. I highly recommend it!

What a gorgeous venue, nestled amongst the trees, beautifully built like a colonial farmhouse with wooden floors, high ceilings. Fabulous space!

Having a wedding reception there shortly. Such a lovely place for anything different size rooms for different functions.

Baker's house is a lovely spot, I have been there for birthdays and a wedding and it has everything you need! The facilities are extremely well kept and is highly recommended to consider for your next event.

Great place to hold functions. Loved that it is self contained. The park right next door with the playground very convenient and great for kids. I'll certainly consider my next function here.

Bakers House provides a lovely function centre that is ideal for engagement parties or similar type events. There are excellent facilities including a large kitchen. The outdoor areas are pleasant so guests can overflow to the outside areas comfortably.

Great location! Had a birthday party in their hall. Great space for kiddies and there's a playground to keep the kids busy.

I run Pilates classes at Baker's House on a weekly basis and am so happy with the quality of the room I hire. The space is always clean plus the room has incredible floorboards and high ceilings. The team at the City of Armadale are also excellent to work with.

Baker's House a lovely community place and park. I frequently take my child to this park and spend good time there. The park is close to the busy road (Wright Road), so it it important that you constantly watch your kids to stop them going to the road. Children play area is big and spacious. Recently the council built a fence around the play area (towards the main road) which prevents toddlers accidentally going on to the road. Though the park is clean, I sometimes find empty bottles, broken glass and other rubbish. Whenever I find them, I pick and put them in the bin. I hope visitors (to the park) are more responsible to keep it clean. Hope the council place some sign boards to remind people to place the rubbish in the designated place.

With one star missing as there is no acoustic thought put in whatsoever and it’s very loud/echo-y. A few acoustic soft panels between rafters and on wall space would make a huge difference

Love this place, beautiful park which my daughter enjoys the most. The council have gated area in between playground and road so safer for active kids to run around without much worrying to the road.
However recently we found broken glass pieces everywhere, it can be dangerous for little ones whom love to explore everything they see within their view.

This is fast becoming popular for weddings. It has a great spot for the ceremony and then you can have the reception inside.

We attended a wedding reception at Bakers House. It was well situated in a lovely park in Harrisdale. Inside there was ample room in the main area for many guests, the exposed brick walls giving it a rustic & cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is well appointed & able to cater for everyone with ease. Another room was used as the servery which made the buffet a breeze. There are toilets in the building which are well maintained. I would recommend this for a function without hesitation.

Great hall, kept in good condition with great outdoor surrounding areas including BBQ and playground. Great spot for families.
