55 Peacocks and parrots! Lots of variety packed into this littleshop.
Really good hot chips. Ask for a feather.

Wow what an attitude the woman behind the counter has! If she was my employee I'd sack her on the spot. Absolutely no customer service skill and so rude to the customers. Here's a tip love.if you don't want to serve people then don't get a customer service job!
Unfortunately today the service was sadly lacking for us. Ladies in the kitchen were good. We ordered and somehow our order was misplaced. We were kept waiting until we queried it, then were treated as though it was our fault. Not good enough Badgy Roadhouse. You need to lift your game.
I’ve popped in quite a few times over the last 6 months and can say the pies are excellent.but that’s were the excellence ends. All of the staff I have been served by are absolutely miserable. Can’t muster a smile, hi or thank you. The food and drinks are very expensive and conveniently there is no pricing on anything.
A little bit of customer service goes a long way.
Was looking forward to their "award winning, world famous" meat pies but they didn't have any.
Everyone not from Australia knows from movies to make sure you always have lots of petrol on your trips.did I forget that rule and was travelling on long empty roads.aha.so glad to come to the roadhouse.not only did they have petrol but a lovely sales lady and such a good atmospere.and a peacock. I'm sure I saw a peacock wandering around.seriously
Convenient location along Badgingarra National Park. Got all the basics you need in a road trip rest stop.
What a nice surprise to find lovely coffee served in gorgeous mugs. The highlight was the tea served in a beautiful teapot made by
Maxwell and Williams. Lovely staff and great food and bonus Peacocks. What a lovely break.
Stopped here because we heard the pies were great. Wow! My wife and I agree they are the best we've had in years of travelling around Oz. I had the steak & mushroom. Full of chunky meat and chunky field mushrooms. My wife had the chunky pepper steak which she said was like eating true pepper steak wrapped in pastry. The "elderly" woman who served us was a delight.
Good food friendly staff, ideal stop for drinks food etc. Do yourself a favour on way to geraldton etc, give it a try
Honestly a smile, a warm welcome and not acting like a miserable.go a long way. If you can't manage this you probably shouldn't be at the front of house. Definitely bypassing this place next time.
Cool peacocks though
Stopped for a drink and a bite but the amount of flies inside was disgusting. Peacock was good. Toilets got a thumbs up.
If your driving to anywhere this is the place to stop.
Tasty, fresh food.
Clean updated facilities
Ample parking
Great service
Super friendly staff, very competitive fuel prices definitely worth swinging off the highway for
Nice place to stop for a rest, good choices if food and drink availed plus toilet and shower facilities. They also have peacocks walking around, very large ones about 6 if them
Just stopped in to this classic little Roadhouse for a bathroom break. Beautifully clean and tidy ladies loo with hand soap, sensor taps, quality hand dryers and a clean mirror. Hugely appreciated!
A great place to stop and rest on that long journey north or south, staff that are friendly and courteous willing to answer any questions you have on local facilities road conditions ahead no matter which direction you are traveling in.
Meals are really good and decently priced, i spent a little over $12 and came away with one of the best home made pies i have tasted in many years, an ice cold drink that nearly gave me a brain freeze it was that cold when i took a sip and an ice cream that was just as good.
Fuel prices strangely enough are at times a lot better than some of the bigger metropolitan cities where you will often pay a lot more on average per litre, in the cities it most often costs on average around $150 or more to fill the standard 65 litre fuel tank.
When i traveled through on my way north to Geraldton i topped up my tank (it was half full) and it only cost me a little over $46 to fill it and at current fuel prices that is definitely value for money in anyones language.
To sum it all up i would rate this establishment an easy 9 / 10 and would have no problems stopping there if i headed north which i will be doing again in a couple of weeks to see family members who live up that way.
Excellent pies and well worth the stop however the coffee is simply the worst I have tasted in WA, and that is saying something. Suggest to stick with instant at least then expectations are set clearly.
A nice little roadhouse, very very small inside. I like dropping in to support these little places as you never knew what you will stumble across.
They mentioned award winning pies! Now I do enjoy a good meat pie or two. I grabbed a chilli beef pie, plenty of chunky meat and it did have a little spice to it however the currie flavors just were not what I expected in a chilli beef pie. Unfortunately I did not rate it as anything extra special. Was plenty of other food on offer which all looked good.
I do recommend dropping in for cool drink and something to eat.
OMG! This place saved us from being stuck in the car for a night. The lady who saved us was so lovely and offered us more then fuel, food, phones and amenities. There truly are angels on this earth. Thanks again for saving us from an unpleasant situation. Please visit here for the loveliness off the staff. Forever great full, people who need fuel after closing hours.
