Needed an engineer's report urgently for a wall removal in our kitchen after another engineer let us down. I dealt with Sam with my design intent for a composite wall 2 level residence. Where some Engineering Consultants may shy away from non-traditional construction methods, BWCE took the challenge, listened to my reasoning and preferred construction method and subsequently delivered exactly what I was after, in a timely and cost efficient manner.

I do not hesitate in recommending BWCE to anyone looking for engineering solutions and documentation for traditional construction methods, but in particular when thinking about moving away from the typical "Perth double brick and tile pizza oven" to techniques which maintain structural integrity in conjunction with using more thermally efficient construction such as composite walls etc.

I’ll start by saying a big thank you to Brett and the team at B Waddell Consulting Engineers for providing a fast, effective, technical service. Not having done renovations before I was quite out of my comfort zone and when it came to modifying structural beams well I certainly got cold feet. Within an hour of consulting with Brett I had a site visit to scope the job and measure what was needed to be modified. Within 48hrs I had three options of various materials to choose from and a structural certification. Very happy customer, I would definitely use this company again.

Since been introduced to Brett back in 2015 – I haven’t had to look for any other engineer anywhere else. Brett has provided design and documentations for all my projects since – from small projects (removal of an existing wall in a house) to large projects (2.6Million – 3 storey house) – and both Residential and Commercial projects.
Brett’s vast experience is a comfort as he is able to provide structural solutions to any design issues for any size projects that I have placed on the table.
However a more important consideration is what does the clients think.
Overall – all of my clients have been satisfied. Brett had provided/completed his work at a reasonable time frame (no delays) and for a very competitive fee. The later is most important, as there are other engineers that charges excessively more.
