Azure Medical Cottesloe

I can highly recommend Azure Medical Cottesloe. The receptionists are welcoming and the surgery is lovely and spacious with my appointment running on time. My initial consultation with Dr Abbe Hollingworth GP there was exceptional. As someone who has several chronic medical conditions, I'm fortunate to find a local GP who is available, thorough, genuinely cares, takes the time to listen and is up to date with the latest medical knowledge. I found Dr Abbe to be warm, intelligent, compassionate and professional.

I'm only commenting on the snoring laser treatment. I spent the $1500 to do the treatment with very minimal results if any at all. I stand 5ft 7" at 65 kilos so not overweight or unfit by any means. I had done a sleep study prior to this treatment to which is showed I did suffer from very mild sleep apnoea. My wife told me the snoring reduced by about half for probably a month after my 2nd treatment. Now I am back to square one and $1500 worse off. I wouldn't say it was a waste of money, I knew the treatment was never going to guarantee a cure for my snoring and for a moment it did look like it was going to cure me. To sum it up im very dissapointed to not have achieved any results at all considering when I did the initial consult it did seem very promising given my over health and physicality was very much suited to achieve positive results. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I accompanied my son to a consultation for the circumcision procedure. During the visit, the doctor explained the procedure and provided details about what we should anticipate. The staff at the clinic were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more reassuring. Based on our positive experience, I highly recommend them for circumcision procedures:)

The two GP's, who I have been caring for me, Dr Kusel and Dr Newton, are extremely thorough, and I feel totally supported mentally and physically. They are very kind compassionate and authentic humans.

Doctor Dovida is an absolute star! So glad to have found such a personable, compassionate and kind natured doctor. She really listens, has time for her patients and never makes you feel rushed. Both Dr Dovida and clinic nurse Jane were so warm and patient-centred during my procedure and I will be most definitely returning to the clinic for ongoing GP care. Thanks team!

Had to follow up multiple times with staff to get the Dr to contact me regarding on ongoing issue I had been seen for weeks prior, and still didn't get any kind of communication back. Won't be coming here again

Takes a good 10 mins before phone is answered. Some of the reception staff are fairly abrupt and when you ask at the reception they don’t sound or want to be helpful. More interested in their own conversation. Except for Georgia who is very helpful.
Though we are patients, we are still clients and it’s not a free service that Azure provide

Cannot rave enough about Dr Abbe Hollingworth- amazing Dr and is thorough, caring and has literally saved my life. Late last year she sent me for bloods and called me hours later to tell me to go straight to ED- I was very ill- found out I was in renal failure (kidneys at 8% function) If left just few hours later and I would’ve been on dialysis for life… she has been so supportive throughout my health challenges and our whole family goes to her (not only great for Women’s health- I have referred many friends to her- but also for my husband and teens). Such an exceptional GP!

Did DEXA scan with Michael. Booked over the phone but could do easily online - all information provided, including prices, easy navigatinion through pages. Receptionist was helpful and kind, speeking clear over the phone. Easy parking near clinic, clean and neat venue. Dr Michael was knowledgeable, easy going, explained all results. Price is affordable. Overall very happy.

Easy parking and access. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and understood my needs exactly. The DEXA Operator/Dietitian was very knowledgeable, experienced and interpreted the analysis in depth as well as providing me with very technical scientific information on various food types, which helped tremendously in guiding and motivating me to embark on my current regime. I have been seeing the owner, Dr Richard Newton, for many years before establishing Azure Medical and what a fantastic doctor he has been. Richard has used his previous medical expertise and patient contact to now develop a highly professional medical practise. Due to this level of support from Richard and all of his staff, I regularly drive a 250 km round trip from my rural property north east of Perth seeking his medical treatment.
