Ayhan's Turkish Cafe reviews
55Bad food.kebab quality were really worst.never going to order again.the owner has really bad customer service in WA.
We were excited to try the kebabs here, but whilst eating them we realised that they have cabbage in them. It said lettuce as an option, not cabbage. It wasn’t enjoyable at all and the cabbage overpowered the other flavours.
Delicious chicken kebabs and HSP! The wrap was slightly crispy and goes very well with the fresh salad, chicken, and sauces. Yumm.
Great food and service. Our favourite is the spinach and feta gozleme and we get take away hummus dips, super tasty! Must try
They have HSP (halal snack pack) listed in there menu, I called them and asked if it was halal and they said no and started getting angry and saying that it’s none of my business when I let them know that HSP stands for halal snack pack and told them to list that it’s as not halal
We found this place after a few other kebab places in the area were overpriced and I'm so glad we did. Much more reasonably priced and definitely worth what they charge. We ordered a gozleme, chicken kebab, and felafel kebab and all 3 were delicious. The house-made wrap/bread for the kebabs made these next level compared to normal kebabs. All the food was made fresh to order and the service was friendly.
The place wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon which I was surprised by once we'd tasted the food. I hope they get more customers, they deserve it!
I really appreciate that they have a website so you can view the full menu in advance, although I think the prices might have increased slightly since the last time the website was updated.
If the food lasted more than a few mins I would have definitely attached some photos, however I was far too distracted if food heaven to snap a pic. The bread was unlike anything I’ve ever had, like clouds of fluffy and soft goodness. The pide was hot and fresh, and made my whole car smell so enticing I was grateful to be staying only around the corner. Will be back for sure next time we visit Perth!
I just got my pizza and I was so hungry but the worst pizza ever I have in my life No no more
I never have high expectations for an Uber eats order, especially from somewhere I’ve not bought from before. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Couldn’t fault my hsp at all. Size, taste, quality and the amount of garlic sauce (my fav part) were all perfect. Will definitely order again and have found a new favourite
I have no comments about other people's reviews. But this place really is average. Their customer service is not the greatest, but I can see they are a family run business and are a bit casual towards their customers. The food was average. We bought a few baklavas to take away. We had the first bite, and we threw it all out because they tasted off. This is actually a nice little place to hang out if they improve their foods.
I would give them no star if I could.the couple (moreso the man) are both super rude.the service was pathetic and the food and coffee poor. I am sorry that I have to review a place so poorly but I think I owe to the rest looking for a Turkish venue.
The best hummus and bread we’ve ever had. So lemony and the garlic is so tasty too:) thank you kindly and highly recommend!
Best Kebabs in Perth - Not greasy - No need for alcohol to fully appreciate the fresh quality ingredients.
First Kebab off the rank! I would’ve been their first customer of the day… which is always risky at an unknown kebab shop: freshness may not be guaranteed. However, the salads all looked fresh & healthy. Today’s meat & bread looked like they were still cooking / being prepared, so it’s possible that I got yesterdays bread & meat warmed up. But it was still a great Kebab. I’m sure if I’d come later in the day, when the kitchen was firing & todays meat had finished roasting, this would be a 5 star review. Nice looking little cafe as well, & great service
Traditional and brilliant. A Turkish gem. Loved the German kebab (burger style bun) and felafel kebab
A kebab from this place will ruin having a kebab from anywhere else! Very reasonable prices too.
Lady was really really rude went their at 11 and told her about my order she said come after an hour went back after hour she said we can’t make you today because it’s very small order she even didn’t know I was about to order more stuff but because she thought the thing I’m ordering worth $5 so they wouldn’t make it if you can’t make something put on Facebook or delete from your menu I wouldn’t recommend anyone go their highly disrespectful and rude people
Lady was super rude! Asked about their freshly made breads and they only had 1 kind and lady snapped and said "do you want to buy it or not? " Man on the other hand was super lovely and friendly! Kebab was just ok, ordered 3 other kebabs, apparently mine was prepared by the man so it was delicious and saucy, whilst the other 2 were prepared by the lady so it was dry and bland.
Walked in around 2: 30pm with my 2yo son thinking we could sit and enjoy a late lunch.
The lady who worked there was so annoyed that we disturbed her from her break she literally huffed and puffed as she walked past us to get to the counter - then she threw something passed me that landed on the table next to me - an old dirty fly swatter! Right in the middle of a table in their cafe! Gross…walked right out.
In response to your reply - this is not a lie. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. And definitely not a fake profile - look me up!
Absolutely delicious.lamb 'burger' with everything, spinach and cheese pita and baklava.such delicious home made bread, beautiful HUGE servings.
Baklava the best I've ever eaten.
