3 Lauren chose to volunteer at the Mental Health Unit on our youth ward. She facilitated yoga groups to individuals who were undergoing mental health recovery and were between the ages 16-24.
Lauren brought a patient and calming demeanour that allowed the participants to feel at ease in her presence. Despite the acuity on the ward, Lauren was able to adapt her classes to those that were present and accommodate to the different needs. She was friendly and warm yet maintained a professional approach.
During her 8 weeks at the ward, I frequently had nursing staff and patients asking for when she would return, as it was an enjoyable activity for all to attend. I highly recommend considering attending Ayana Yoga - Lauren is extremely pleasant to work with and a fantastic instructor.
Lauren is a terrific instructor, and the vibe and energy at Ayana yoga is so relaxing and grounding. It’s beginner friendly too so I’d recommend Ayana to anyone wanting to try yoga.
Lauren is a fantastic teacher, she is calming and attentive. She creates a comfortable and inclusive environment for each attendee. Lauren has established a beautiful space, perfect for physical and mental reset. I highly recommend trying Ayana Yoga
