Even though they were very fully booked, the boss tried to get us a car at short notice. Everything worked out great. Very nice and uncomplicated. Thank you again.

Great service! Even though they were fully booked, they helped me out to get a car to drive back to Perth. Lucky me broke down in Esperance and ute ended up on truck on the way back to Perth.

Ridiculous service! Left no message about where rental car is for pick up and no one at the counter at the airport. They don’t deserve 1 star! Very unhappy with their service! Wouldn’t recommend them!

Very poor customer relations to have only 100kms a day and as a previous poster said after the airport trip you only have 56 kms before being charged 26c a km not very good. Spoilt the experience

Over charged on kms. Had us down for 508km when we use 90km. Too lazy to check the odometer themselves. Now fighting to get our money back.

While vehicle was nice and clean, please be aware of an additional km fee (for remote locations). If you pick up and drop off the vehicle from the airport (assuming you fly in and out of Esperance) it's 22 km each way to town centre. This leaves only 56 km for the rest of the day before being charged a fee for excess km above the 100 km daily limit.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. The service (or lack-thereof) shown by Avis in Esperance and their staff was appalling. In September 2018 I made a booking for a rental car to be picked up and dropped off in December. A few days before we were supposed to pick the car up I received a phone call telling me that because of the time of year there would be no one in office so I would be sent an email with instructions for the day. No such email came. On the day we were supposed to pick the car up I rang them up personally to find out what was going on and was told where the keys would be. This was the 27th of December so not even a public holiday. The same would have to happen 3 days later on 30th, again, not a public holiday either, and guess what? No one was there to drop the car off to. I had to do the same thing again though and ring them myself to find out what was going on. A few days later I received a phone call telling me no payment had been made. Which was true it hadn't. So we sorted the payment method on the phone with the card details and I politely gave some customer feedback that none of this would have happened if Avis had been bothered to have someone in office at either one of our drop off or pick up of the rental. And all I got back was excuses down the phone. Less than an hour later I get the charge on my card its no less than 5 times the amount the receipt says. And the same amount more than the agreed fee IN SEPTEMBER. I call them back up again and it takes no time at all because these idiots are basically my number one speed dial now. And tell the lovely lady on the phone about my confusion only to be told its standard procedure with a mastercard? But not to worry the extra 500 will be back in my account in 7-10 days. I then say it would have been nice to have been told this on the phone beforehand only to be told it should take less than 7-10 days. Not addressing my issue at all I say the exact same thing again, and get the exact same answer through what I can tell is a gritted teeth smile. Absolutely pathetic excuse for customer service in my opinion. I will never. EVER deal with Avis in Australia again. Thanks for nothing Avis.
