Very unpleasant to deal with, the person I dealt with was extremely rude. My advice to you Sir, is, if you hate being there that much, it’s time to move on… I definitely wont be back.

The manager is so rude. He was having a fight with his wife as we just sat there waiting to be served. I felt so sorry for the young girl working there. We had issues with how much he charged, so we rang head office and they said that they had many complaints about him but as owns the franchise, their hands are tied. You would think that they could do something, as he’s ruining the brand name

I rented a car recently and the service was awesome. I called the office to make the booking and the staff on phone is really professional and friendly. Definitely I will rent a car again with them!

Recently we hired a small car for our short stay in Bunbury to travel around. We arrived 12.30 pm on Saturday and the car was ready. It was a MG3 in great condition. The manager Alan explained in details of the contract and advised us about the extra insurance for peace of mind. For a small sum of money we agreed to that. Within 15 minutes we got the car and off we go.
On returning the car a few days later, Alan was kind enough to ask one of his staff Dave to drop us off to the Bunbury Train Station, instead of us calling a taxi.

About 20 minutes later while we were waiting in the Terminus, I got a tap on my shoulder. Dave found my spectacle case in the hire car and he was so kind to return this to me.

Before we booked our car with Avis, we read about so many negative reviews about this company. We were very hesitated whether we should do the booking. Finally we gave it a trial and we found out that our experience was very different than others.

We were very happy with the service and the car and we would recommend others to give it a trail.

So incredibly rude! I called to ask if it was possible to hire a ute for a day to relocate our caravan, as I wasn't sure if this was an option. The response: "1. We don't have two-door utes anymore. 2. We don't have ANYTHING to do with towing caravans. EVER. " I was then hung up on. It was a simple question that could have been met with a polite answer.

Booked a 22 seater bus online informed didn’t need to pay anything until collections in the confirmation email. They then informed me it was already booked out to someone who paid their deposit. Extremely misleading website and completely rude people

Disgusting service from the manager, let alone both of them talking disgusting to each other at the desk. Let alone the fact that my van was hit with a kangaroo, couldn't pick it up at the time that I needed too, and no compensation for that either. Couldn't ask simple questions without getting rude responses.

Nervously hired a Hino Truck to collect a large delivery from Perth. Truck was awesome to drive, and 1/5th the price of the only same day courier I could find. 1/3 of the cost of a delivery on the Tuesday as well. Manager was great, he was efficient and "direct", which I guess some may take offense to. Myself, I found him to be helpful, kind and accommodating. If you're ever moving house or need to collect big things, definately go the Truck. Never driven anything bigger than a van, it was really is easy to drive.

If there was a 0 star, that is what I would choose. These disgustingly rude people should definitely not run any kind of business. Judging by the reviews, we are not the first ones to run into this horrific car provider. I hope to god these people don’t have children, I would emancipate myself from the family.

Second time to rent a car last weekend. The reviews are true about the manager, very rude and unprofessional. My partner and I really felt that he is racist, we just rented a car again to pick up our brand new car in Manji. Shouldve told him that, when he was acting rude on us. Wont be renting car in this company ever again when needed in the future. I really dont recommend bunbury branch.

The owner of this company is so unbelievably rude! I have never dealt with such a rude man who clearer doesn’t care about customer service. His company made a mistake, these things happen, however the way he spoke to me was so disrespectful. My partner spoke to him prior and we both made the comment separately to him, “please don’t speak to me like that”.
He told me he is in the business of renting trucks, not talking to people like me. I would never use this company again and I am shocked Avis allows this man to stay in business using this name.

Appalling service from the Bunbury manager.

There was a miscommunication of sorts which meant my long-held booking wasn’t sorted, despite a confirmation call two days earlier - no dramas, these things happen.

But the way the manager handled it was atrocious. He was aggressive, accusatory, dismissive and just plain rude.

I also observed him berating his female colleague the entire time I was there about all sorts of things.

If he’s comfortable doing that in front of customers, I could only imagine how he treats his staff and other people behind closed doors.

Couldn’t ever imagine working in such a toxic environment let alone supporting this business as a paying customer.

Terrible service - Heidi and Alan probably the rudest people to deal with. I called to query an additional charge that was not communicated prior to being billed and was forced to jump through so many hoops just to get the information. Complained about how difficult it was to Alan and he just said he doesn't need advice on how to run the business.

Go to Hertz - far more fair and professional even if they are a bit more expensive

I phoned the Bunbury office today to get some clarification on age limits for older drivers as there is nothing about this on the Avis website. I had just tried to pick up a car in Busselton and was told I was to old (but that is another story). I got this incredibly rude man (Alan I think). Who proceeded to berate me for pointing out that the Avis website was deficient. No apology for the mixup at the Busselton office either. Terrible customer service. I will not use Avis again.

I got the 3rd degree from a Mr Payne. I got there before closing, was berated for not getting there earlier. Questioned very intently on why I was hiring. Very bad costumer service, shall never go there again. On a positive note, the car was amazing to drive.

I rented a car to be picked up and dropped off at Perth Airport. I was given a car and was informed there was a crack on the windscreen. The staff said if you pull down t he sunshade you won’t see it and it’ll be safe to drive. It was quite late in the evening so you couldn’t really see it but I did take it (I probably shouldn’t have).

The next morning, I took the car out and noticed the crack was quite a distraction and quite large. It was a Saturday and I wanted to call in to get an exchange if the car but it was outside their operating hours, so I called the Avis hotline. They advised me I should never have been offered this vehicle and to get a replacement once the place opened up. I did ad I was instructed and the agent was lovely, but the conversation was overheard by the franchise owner and he was irate. He went on a tirade about how the call centre was serviced by people from the Philippines and they don’t know anything about car rentals. He was rude, waved me off with his hand but begrudgingly gave me a new car after telling me he had 30+ years in the industry as if this is was my fault. He followed me outside the centre after and said that had I called in earlier I could’ve avoided all the “drama”; when I tried to seek clarification what he meant by drama, he said he could be helping other clients instead of me. The agents were lovely and the only reason they are getting anything more than no stars. The franchise owner is an angry man who was rude to his staff as well. Would not recommend.

The staff at Perth airport were fantastic. I’m still contemplating putting in a formal complaint with Avis on how this was all handled. Stay away if you can.

Sorry no stars from me, this would have to have been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. These people from the Bunbury branch are the rudest people I have ever come across, they make the mistakes, then tell me I have to forfeit my deposit. I have put an official complaint in to Consumer Protection! Don't use them.
