Aviators Cafe reviews
19 Great to see this place open more often. Good selection of drinks, sandwiches, chocie bars and cakes.
Perfect spot to grab a snack and watch the planes
Probably the most expensive toastie and can of coke I've had anywhere in the world but none the less is was good
$12.50 for a pre made chicken and avocado roll was ludicrous.
Wasn't even fresh.
The sausage roll was obviously a baymarie recycle over a few days as it was like rubber and a horrible taste. It was a small size mrs macs type and was a whopping $5.50!
The capaccino was terrible and burnt my tongue.
Even after it cooled down it was not good and it was small and also $5.50.
The service older lady was quite sour and the other guys just left without ordering
Small cafe by the runway good spot for watching (entertaining) small children.
Didn't try food but convenient for chips icecream etc.
Nice little cafe to sit at when going plane spotting at the viewing area. Have in mind it's only a relatively small cafe, and there aren't many staff.
$21.50 for an egg sandwich, a ham and cheese sandwich, a can of soft drink and a pop top. Ludicrous. Not overly welcoming either unfortunately. Picnic next time!
Paid $8 for a dry old tasting chicken roll with about 5 cubes of chicken on it, absolutely no pricing on anything and I can see why, Shane because if the food quality was raised its a nice spot and I could see it being popular.
Feel silly giving 5 stars when it was not open on Sunday. Such a nice location. I can sit here without a coffee and cake
Nice place next to the viewing park, the coffee was just right, and they have the coolest mug. The food offering looked fresh and tasted fine.
A nice spot on a sunny day - I arrived there on my ebike. There was even a playcentre group there. Picnic tables available, public toilets handy
Chicken burger was hours old and flavourless, sandwiches are overpriced and basic, staff are often bland or plain rude. Save your money and bring food and sit on the benches or head up the road for anything else
Don’t waste your time going here. Atrocious service from the staff, borderline abusive. Food is underwhelming and drink prices are extremely high.
This place needs to sort themselves out or it won’t last much longer. Francesco’s secures my business.
Fantastic spot to stop and watch all the aircraft taking off and landing. Some nice food in there as well a and friendly staff
Hit and miss whether or not it'll be open. The third time it hasn't been closwd on a saturday. Should be open from 9 to 2.welll thats what the sign says anyway
Love it here its peaceful and the kids really enjoy being here. Also the food at Aviators Cafe is beautiful
Friendly staff, happy to use my keep cup, sadly no fresh iced coffee. Tables are not shaded but you can get a take away and sit under the shades. Would be even better if their tables were shaded and they had some kind of encouragement for customers to bring their own cups, since 99% of people will take their drink to the picnic tables.
I have been eating here for several years, food is good, service is excellent as is the coffee
Food and coffee is great need to update the website to suite current prices and the staff are friendly.
