Very good visit. Allow yourself time as their is a lot of information written up about the exhibits which is very informative and worth a read.

There are quite a lot of planes from different eras and also tons of old artefacts with their own lore and how they came into show in this museum. You can spend an entire day looking around and reading the lores.

All the staff there are volunteers, and they are very friendly.

The price is considered good for how many planes and artefacts are there, with $15 for adults and $7.5 for children.

Great array of significant military aircraft fixed wing and rotary. Highlights are Huey, Tornado GR4, Lancaster, Spitfire and DC 3. But also includes loads of other air transport related stuff sufficient to keep an aircraft enthusiast busy for a couple of hours.

Incredibly lovely placed, filled to the brim with all the aviation you could want. A welcoming environment complimented with wonderful volunteers.

Excellent display of aircraft including the new Tornado GR4 as well as the Catalina, Spitfire, Canberra and a Lancaster
The museum is easily accessible from the Kwinana Freeway and also contains a treasure trove of other Aviation memorabilia

We had a fabulous time at the Aviation Heritage Museum. I’ll try to keep this short. Visited with a 2.4yr old and 5m old baby. The toddler had a blast.

Reasons to visit/things to see: There are interactive displays, like a helicopter you can sit in, push the button and the rotor blades spin, a small plane they can climb into and “fly” - they are also working on some virtual reality displays that you can sit in and fly for the kids.
There are two hangars, the far one with military memorabilia and aircrafts. In between the two are seated tables for you to sit and feed the kids or take a break. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable and patient with the kids.

Hygiene and convenience: The change table area (while not fancy) was better equiped then most of the play centres around Perth! I’d forgotten our change mat — no worries, spares underneath. I’d also forgotten disposable nappy bags, no worries, spares under the change table too. There was also a wooden busy block play toy in the change table area so you can keep your toddler busy while you attend to the baby. It was also super clean! And the tables outside (despite the bad windy and rainy weather) were also super clean. The toddler stopped to eat his lunch and I swear, I ran my finger over that table 3 times and there was not one ounce of dust on it! You could literally eat off the table.

Hidden gem. This museum was recommended to me by a friend. It was the first time I had heard of this museum, but I am glad we had decided to visit this place. Recommended for all ages. Lots of planes and other artefacts with alot of knowledge.

Top place. It truly is a credit to the staff and volunteers, both current and the many years past. A huge amount of history. The Lancaster, Catalina, Spitty and recently added Tornado were stars for me. The collection of models it amazing. Quite a bit of interactive stuff and rolling videos etc. Well worth a visit.

Great museum with 2 sheds full of aircraft and other war memorabilia. The volunteers are lovely and are able to answer lots about the aircraft.

Looking forward to seeing the F-18 when it arrives

I live in Perth but it was my first visit. The museum was exceptionally good! Well presented and displayed and I really enjoyed reading and listening to the historical facts and so many planes, photos and parts to see.
I'll be back.

On a rainy day was really cold, but kids loved it. Well worth the cost of entry. Always a favourite.

If you have any interest at all in aviation, you'll love this place. It's worth taking the time to chat with the volunteers, who are all incredibly knowledgeable. Today I did the tour of the Lancaster Bomber, something I've wanted to do for years and never got around to, even though it's only ten minutes from where I live. Why did I wait? I had so much fun, crammed into those tiny spaces, with not a moment of boredom in a tour that ran for over an hour and a half. Highly recommended. If you want the tour, only two or three can go, so it's worth booking ahead. If you're not bothered, you can turn up, but be aware it can get busy and hot in summer, so mornings are better.

This has so much more in it than I ever imagined. Highly recommend. Work every dollar of the entry fee. The volunteers are lovely and knowledgeable. I loved this place and so did my kids. Lots of interactive things for the kids to enjoy while the adults explore. What a treasure to have this museum in our backyard.

A lot to see in the museum, great history of many wartime planes used in Australia. There are two hangars, so don't forget to visit both! It is amazing how they squeezed so many planes, some that are really large, in the hangars.

Great place to visit, plan to have plenty of time to spend here because there's a lot to see. Great displays and plenty of information. Also have exciting videos.

99% war history. For $125 you get a fully detailed presentation of ONE of the planes. Amenities are from the 1930s. The VR wait times caused the kids to lose interest. It's an impressive facility nonetheless. I think you'd have to be a serious war aviation enthusiast to get the best out of it. 3 stars from me.

Highly recommend, Lancaster tour is a must. There are not many places in the world left where you can see and tour on these. Take the opportunity before they all disappear

Fascinating place. Great to be able to get close up to such iconic aircraft and to be able to appreciate the sheer size of them. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

1st time here and wow some fantastic exhibits and wondered how they fitted so many huge planes in. A great place to spend a few hours going through and looking at the planes and history behind them and the other items there.
