Dr Afilaka is probably one of the worst doctors I’ve ever consulted.

Gave me wrong diagnosis on multiple occasions - told me I had some rare disease and needed immediate treatment…when I consulted my usual GP and underwent another medical - results showed it was simply excess magnesium particles from my recovery supplements -

In another situation, I booked a Telehealth consultation for 12pm but received a call at 7pm, after simply expressing I was expecting his call at 12, he replied with sorry for wasting your time and hung up immediately, no genuine apology nothing”. - I called back and explained to the receptionist he said he’s busy and would call me back, literally seconds between his call and my return call, had to call back several times in order to ask for my certificate which was never sent - (Receptionist is his family member by the way, it’s a family affair at this rate)

Called up 5 times just before I got a hold of someone at reception.
Wait times are ridiculous and no care in the world they make people wait that long.

Went in as had A touch of tonsillitis. Spoke about a few other things too. Was literly in there for 2 to 3 mins, customer service poor and had to pay $50.00 for the consultation. Disgusted!

Dr Kanchana is pretty nice and professional. She never let patients to wait too long.and Jasmine Wong is a great doctor there. But Kachanna and Jasmine are no long here.

Sitting in the reception at 1: 35pm for my appointment which was meant to be at 12: 50pm. I then see the doctor heating up her lunch and going to have her break but with 4 patients still sitting waiting? ! I asked reception how long it was going to be and there's still people in front of me. I gave up and left, I'm not waiting close to an hour and a half for an appointment. I've waited at least 30 minutes for every appointment but today was just ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend.

Had Telehealth Appointment for 11am called at 3pm ask what's happening. Said that they are running behind but I'll receive the call. 5pm and still no phone call. Disappointing Service

Have been going to this medical center for a while and today will be my last visit.

I do dislike been too critical but sometimes it is warranted.

Have been sick for 4 days and on the tail end, wanted some antibiotics to clear the last of it off, doctor ignored anything I had to say and was just pushed through with 4 scripts in 3 minutes (only filled the antibiotics).

Started to ask a few questions and a look of disgust crossed the doctors face like I was wasting her time.

The center does have/has had a few good doctors, currently in a poor state so suggest driving anywhere except here until they sort it out.

The most unprofessional practice around. The doctors do not care about their patients. Do not use this practice.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS WILL NEVER ATTEND HERE AGAIN!
I waited 1 hr 45 min today to get into the appointment for my daughter. The appointment was booked for 3.30pm. I called up 15 minutes prior to the appointment to see if the Dr was running on time and was told there was 4 people ahead of us and a 40 minute wait. I asked if we could wait at home longer and was told yes. I arrived 20 minutes after my appointment time to ensure I wasn't late in case the 4 people went in quickly. When I arrived I was told there was 3 people ahead of me. Despite waiting at home we still had to sit in the waiting room for 1 hour 25 min to go in for a 5 minute appointment.

Terrible experience. Waited for over and hour and a half for an appointment for my young child in a messy, miserable waiting room strewn with out-of-date flyers and posters everywhere you looked. Had to walk out and skip the appointment in the end due to such poor time management. 15/20 mins is very a reasonable wait, but over 90min with no care by staff is incredibly poor. By the amount of similar reviews, this issue has not been addressed or is just completely ignored.

DO NOT USE THIS MEDICAL CENTRE EXTREMELY DIRTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND IT STINKS! Wait time is out the gate got in the room with doc not in there for 5 min b4 i was told time was up a joke then they expect you to pay 30 dollars dont not use this centre iv been trying to call to make a complaint with manger but they will not answer my call

Rubbish service!
No one there knows what they are doing. The receptionists have absolutely no idea. Staff are very rude and careless. The centre is very filthy.

Unprofessional service. Person sitting at the reception seems to know nothing and very rude. Waiting times are pathetic.

Had an appointment with Dr Aisha, haven’t seen such a bad behaviour from a Dr ever in Australia, if there would have been a negative star rating option I would have definitely given that…

Shout out to Dr jasmine Wong. 5 stars. Unfortunately she is on mat leave.
Rest of surgery hasn't changed. Filthy with Drs who have no sense of time and no compassion and can be rude. Why is this practice still open? !

Incompetent. I have made a few visits here and will no longer return. On all three occasions the wait has been well over an hour, to the point I drive home and get them to call me. I turn up on time and they say they have 6 patients ahead of me, and this is with the same Dr.each time - this happens to everyone I have spoken to and there is no excuse - they need to seek improvement in efficiency.

The surgery itself is filthy, I don't even want to wait inside or sit on those chairs. The chairs have stains, and hairs and what looks like dandruff; obviously not cleaned enough, if at all because the floor is filthy as well and the surgery isn't the nicest aroma either.

I wouldn't recommend Dr Afilaka unless you have 1-2 hours to waste waiting when you turn up on time.

I don't think he listens well either. I requested a medical certificate for 2 days and he wrote it up wrong after me clearly telling me the dates.

I'm nothing short of disgusted by this surgery and would rather drive into town and pay $70 for an appointment than come here. I feel a visit from the health regulator is needed to write up some serious non-conformances and improvement notices.

Some of the receptionists can't speak English well at all (but they are nice people).

I DO NOT RECOMMEND AVELEY MEDICAL CENTRE. PERIOD!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! The dr that owns the centre is totally unprofessional, dismissive and arrogant. Waiting time is out of this world and never any acknowledgment for it. I’ll never go here again.

Drs seem okay but both times have waited over an hour after my booked appointment time, no urgency at all

Doctor Afalika laughed at me for wanting my own dad to feed me after having a concussion sustained from work just because I'm 22. "So you want your dad to feed you at 22 years old? " And just giggled at me. Absolute joke now I have to find another doctor while on workers compensation.

Every time I am here I am always waiting over an hour to be seen it is ridiculous especially when you are feeling unwell place is dirty and staff are not great either
