Took my car in for diagnosis on the aircon, booked in for the next available booking which was 3 weeks time, arrived to my appointment only to be told he couldn't do it due to no man power.
No phone call no communication nothing!

This bloke tried to rip me off and over charge me $500by ordering the wrong part. Delayed the process despite having 3 weeks to prepare for my air conditioning to be fixed.

***MY RECOMMENDATION - DONT GO HERE***

Proper old school service. I brought my old compressor in and he had a reconditioned unit there which he swapped the hub and outlets over with mine while I waited. Best place to go for older, harder to find parts.

Had an intermittent fault with my triton AC other people on forums having same issues with no fix, auto cool listened to the issues I had and told me how to fix myself as they were very busy and could not fit me in during my time in Perth simple job now fixed

Absolutely terrible service, went in to have a compressor fitted on my 2000 Prado, after 30+ years of experience, apparently my car was a bit tricky to fix, while it was sitting alongside a Lamborghini waiting to be fixed, after not much at all being fixed I was told I also needed a hose which no-one makes anymore.what was done, again not much at all.was going to cost me upward of $1500.

Brett is absolutely awesome. Fitting me in last minute, communication was great. Lots of experience with automotive AC. Worked on my RX-7 FD and my BMW. Thanks!

I received 6 star service from Mike and Tim, they went above and beyond putting in a new compressor and finding a leak before a regas and now i have ICE COLD air con. Cannot recommend these guys more highly. Honest, efficient and very reasonably priced. Thank you

Called up today with an issue regarding my Aircon condensor and spoke to Tim who told me I was welcome to come in even without an appointment. He then went above and beyond to share his knowledge and time and to help me get my Aircon back up and running. Will definitely be coming back for future work.

Top guys.
Called up about ac compressor they sourced it very next day and half the cost other quoted.
Very knowledgeable about all components.
Will be taking my cars there for any future work.

Car AC wasn't working after travelling 30,40Kms, I went to Autocool and they figured out the problem and fixed the issue. Happy with the service. Recommend for any Car AC related issues.

Our Aircon decided to die during a heatwave, right between Christmas and New Year. Mike was quick to help and did a fantastic job fixing our air con and now it's icy cold ️.

Fantastic service from the team at Autocool. If you want someone who really knows what they are doing this is the place. Fast turnaround and well priced.

Mike and Haydon very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Haydon found the intermittent fault I had in the a/c compressor clutch engaging. Ended up being clutch gap getting to big. Was advised by Haydon to remove a shim. Makes so much sense. Turned a big job into a simple fix. No charge for 20 minutes of their time, even putting gauges on to test the system. Thumbs up. I went in to get a new hose made as they were the only place that offered to do it in a timely manner. Very friendly and helpful staff (Haydn) gave me advice on how to prepare my aircon system as much as possible by myself before taking it to be gassed up. Ended up needing another different hose replaced last minute and Darcy sorted me out in no time. I was able to get my AC going on the same day.

If it wasn't for them I would probably have to wait until after Christmas/new years to get it fixed, so I feel like my money was well spent with Autocool Components!

I went to this place cause of my air con stopped to work. They did a regas for 175$, it worked but, after 4 hours, the air con stopped to work again.
I went back to understand what's wrong with the car and they did a test and they asked me other 450$ to fix it, telling me that they couldn't do a discount cause they didn't know the problem before.
So they told me that I paid 175$ for nothing and they couldn't do anything about it.
Really unprofessionals, wouldn't recommend this garage.

We read some negative reviews before attending there, but one of the young mechanics did a prompt and honest assessment, and he didnt even try to sell any unnecessary service to us whereas other dodgy ones could try to rip us off. I didnt need a grain of salt after all.
