Autobahn Mechanical and Electrical Services Joondalup

Not really a good experience there. First they forgot to put engine cover upon asking they came up with broken cover. Moreover, they mentioned they washed the car but it doesn't really looks like they washed to be honest as mud and leaves are still over there. I have mentioned these issue on place but they didn't accept and insisted that they washed the car and didn't broke cover as well. Customer service at it's worst honestly.

These guys were great. Friendly, helpful, communicative, and competitive in their pricing. Definitely recommend them.

Fabulous service from Tom and Kevin. I needed a headlight fitted and it was all sorted so quickly. Recommend.

Had a problem with an engine sensor which was causing an engine warning light to come. Autobahn fixed it for free while I waited - excellent service!

Such sweet guys, amazing job and helped me to understand everything I needed to. They even washed my car at the end. So amazing ️

Has the service, done so quick and by midday the car was ready to collect. Very effiecent in listing what we needed to repair or worked on in the future, but straight up and no messing about.

Actually shocked when I see they cleaned the car inside and out. Thank you for going one step futher.

Did a good job in the timeframe specified and provided further advice for the issue. Fair price.

My mother in law has had the worst experience at this place.

She had just had her car serviced at her usual service centre (autobahn balcatta) nil issues identified at the time.

A week later needed to have a safety inspection done for registration purposes we were told $180 all up for a safety inspection so agreed. They stated they found numerous issues which when questioned about them were unable to provide a straight answer.

They then told us car needed new tyres so when we returned with the new tyres they didn’t even check the car to see new tyres were on it only checked we had a receipt. They charged an extra $120 on top of the $180 already paid to just check the receipt, none of this was disclosed prior.

Sad to see businesses have no respect/take advantage of our elderly citizens. Very un-Australian.

Won’t be going back!

The absolute worst customer service I've ever come across (paul), won't listen to the customer, wanted a quote for rear axles and seals, would give one because they couldn't fathom how the part was damaged. All I want to pay for is what I want not a bunch more things you might think need replacing. Take a sec and listen to people. When I first called for a quote they felt the need to correct my terminology can called the parts driveshafts. Then when I called back the second time I used their wording (drivesafts) only to be corrected again with (axles). Obviously they haven't got a clue and are just trying to fleace people out of money you. Have a read of your policies thanks for the run around

Many car services I've used will go above and beyond.to the detriment of the client. They'll skip the diagnosis, go right into repair, then charge the client regardless.

Autobahn Joondalup doesn't do this.

They'll diagnose the vehicle, acknowledge the faults, ring the client, and ask them how to proceed - even offering additional time is necessary if they wish to shop elsewhere.

They even offer entirely free hire cars if they go over-schedule. Which is rare, but usually justifiable. Things happen after-all.

Prices are usually spot on, and any advice or suggestions are welcome, even if its occasionally to the detriment of their own business - but not its reputation. The communication is fantastic. I'm yet to receive a bad service.

Timing belt + water pump was done here on my families Getz, excellent service and workmanship.

Biggest mistake and waste of time and money. Paid $180 for a vehicle safety report. Received a tax invoice listing issues that were not there and highly doubt the check was done correctly. I feel they listed a couple of common issues and charged out $180
Something definitely not right.
I questioned this with the manager / owner and he fumbled with an answer and couldn’t tell me what was found

Good, honest, helpful garage. Diagnose problems accurately and appropriately. Don't rip you off. Always been very happy with any work done on my car.

100% Satisfied with their service. Extremely detailed. They kept informing about my car conditions and suggested any replacements. Highly recommend this place and I will continue to use their service.

Had my 2004 WRX in to re licence after 3 years on stands. The inspection was approved within 45 mins of booked time and I was out of there. Never heard my stock WRX refered to as "a great example" before but the compliment was most welcome. Legends.

Were able to fit me in a reasonable time when most places are really busy and they were helpful and reasonably priced

I have not used AutoBahn before today, the guys were incredibly professional, kept me informed on what needed to be done and the cost. Friendly, efficient and professional service. I would highly recommend them.

Went in for an overheating issue, returned the car with a check engine light and was told not to worry, it will go away in time, never did. Car overheated again a month later, gave it back to them where they kept it for Thursday through to Tuesday the next week just to tell me there’s nothing wrong with it and they can’t fault it. Overheated again the next day on my way to work and found they had left their tools in my engine bay when they gave the car back to me. Shocking form

I've used Autobahn Mechanical Joondalup for the 1st time and found the experience to be better than I expected. The car came back cleaner than when it went in and it's running like a dream.
The staff were clean, efficient and kept me informed that my air filter also needed replacement.
Very happy with the services and I am happy to recommend this local family run business.
