Auto Masters Beldon

Our Ford was taken in to get the aircon sorted on the 14 Dec by my wife. The aircon just stopped working, indicating a possible gas leak. She received a phone call informing her that TWO valves on the aircon system needs to be replaced. It was replaced and the system re-gassed. After $395, the aircon worked fine for about two hours before hot air was blown out again. The next morning my wife and daughter took the vehicle back. They were asked by an elderly, gray-haired guy whether they have set the settings correct. Really?
A male friend of ours (a mechanic) went in with them. He started asking questions about the procedure that was followed the previous day. The dye that gets injected to determine where leaks are, was not used.
The vehicle was taken back on Monday, 18th Dec. When the vihicle was recieved back later in the afternoon, it was reported that the problem was too big to resolve and that they did not have the knowledge or the tools to repair the fault. We were refered to another person that specialises in aircons.

This obviously brings up a question or two:
1. Auto Masters may be great with mechanical faults as per other reviews
2. Although advertised, do they know enough of vehicle aircons?
3. As the correct procedures was not followed, the valves that was replaced, may not have required replacement.

Almost $400 later, the aircon is still not fixed. Is an expensive trial and error.

To say the least, the expierence at Auto Masters Beldon is not good.

Not impressed at all, very poor customer service. Whatever happened to ringing the customer before proceeding with any extra work instead of hitting them with a massive bill at the end? At the time of booking I specified exactly what I wanted done, they decided some other things needed to be fixed too (that actually didn’t need repair at that point) but instead of ringing me to discuss and gain my consent and notify me of cost they didn’t ring me at all. When I went to pick my car up at the end of the day I had to pay $350 more than I expected to pay. I won’t be bringing my car back to them again.

Been supporting automasters for a while now, good to find people you can trust, stopped at automasters Beldon for some advise, glad to see Rudy working here now truly this legend help me out at a different automasters before, big shout out, great guy and honest, will bring my car here from now on!

Only place I'll go to get my car serviced, even when I was living in Bunbury would make the drive here. Great service, always calls you to explain what is wrong & needs to be done, gives you an exact cost for each job before they do it, will categorise the urgency of each fix, so if you can put off a certain fix if you haven't got the money to get it all done in one go. Friendly & thorough staff, always going above & beyond to help you out & happy to educate you on any mechanic issues you might not understand.

I will be honest, I haven't actually taken my car here before. However, I did get a flat tyre and had to pull up into the BP next to them. I didn't have any tools to remove the tyre, so I popped my head in and asked if they could take the tyre off and replace it with the spare I had (Expecting to pay them for their time).

The guys there were happy to help, walked straight out with me whipped it off and put the new one back on. Asked him how much and he said, "nothing, you just needed some help".

Decided to give them a go as needed a new mechanic so read the reviews & I can honestly say I am very happy I did! Ok, my normal service ended up costing alot more BUT it is the first time I can say it feels like it has had a service when driving! Never had that before. They also rang to let me know what needed to be done & further costs before going ahead with it. I will now be bringing my daughters car there when due.

Have to give a HUGE shout out to the team at Auto Masters Beldon today! ……. After nearly a week of being sick with the flu- I had to get a tooth extraction today which was extremely difficult to remove - i go my car to find my tyre completely flat! Feeling drained from the flu and sore from the extraction- the flat tyre was too much! The guys changed my tyre free of charge and were very compassionate also! So THANKS! I've had my car serviced and repaired here 3 times, I've found them to be honest and upfront with work that needs doing. No hidden costs.

Overall Brilliant service provider. Trustworthy, punctual and value for what you pay for. Couldn’t be happier

Car has been there 4 times within a month so far to repair an issue with the clutch. Spent over $5000 to date and based on history should be back there in around a week. Terrible diagnostic ability.
