11The review/tirade by person! Is she talking about AME? I don't think so as I have years of dealing with them fixing some complex problems. They have never been anything but professional, empathic and fixed as quickly as possible. I thank the team for your continued care and good work I have received over the years.
In short extremely poor effort on AME behalf. Refusing to return calls and then the rudeness and attitude from the telephone operator laura (if that was their name) just highlights the attitude experienced repeatedly by this company. My wheelchair requires repair and was basically told to get lost and stop harassing them. This isnt surprising seeing the owner came in to my home and threatened me physically and identified himself as a worker which has been duly reported to ndis.
This company i would not recommend to anyone as the complete lack of care or service continues across every facet of their business.
And as for threatening people in their homes well i wouldnt allow any of these people near a child if they treat clients buying $25k dodgy wheelchairs they refuse to service under warranty. After being threatened by the owner and now being refused the right to get my chair fixed is 100% true and this time i will not allow my review to be deleted by having my phone taken off me and given to a worker to access and delete my first unfavourable review. It seems this is standard operation for this company as they had no idea even who or why we called. They were that rude they didnt even get a name or number. And to the owner, your threats to hide the truth of your business operations from the people you flog chairs to will be ignored and every day my chair sits here and basic service is denied i will keep adding reviews and complaints to ndis. Physically standing over a client and threatening them in their own home.priceless Rod absolutely priceless.
A very professional outfit and straight in to wheelchair selection and scripting for quotes.
Rather efficient with time also which means you don't have to be there for hours.
Showroom has a diverse selection to browse and trial for most needs to facilitate your preference.
Jason was amazing from showing us around, helping us decide what chair was right for me and throughout the whole process including delivery. He was sensitive and accomodating to my needs and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Becoming disabled is a terrifying and overwhelming experience for anyone but AME were incredible in easing me into the transition and making me feel some sense of normality.
The Staff are extremely knowledgeable about the equipment plus Ajusting it to your requirements
The Person attending me picked up so many faults that was wrong with the wheelchair I was using after altering my back plus body had relief from pain.
I recently had to purchase a new supportive backrest for my manual wheelchair to assist with posture (amongst other things). The help I got in selecting the equipment that was right for me was amazing and the turn around on installation really quick.

Today I picked up my new wheelchair. I was met by Jason, he was so Friendly and professional, he really knows his craft. Jason it was a pleasure and thank you.my wheelchair is amazing.
Id like to thank Jason for going the extra mile and getting my wheelchair put together and customised.
I retract my previous review and found due to miscommunication AME copped the brunt of my frustration and were incorrectly blamed for a problem that was not their fault. I apologise for this error and i can see that we are both dealing with the same red tape that has promoted this frustration. Im extremely happy with my new chair and my first powered chair. Customer service was beyond the call and explanation and demonstration of my new chair was clear and simple.

Very helpful bunch of people. Went above and beyond sorting out my equipment even though I had not initially purchased it through their company. Even offered me some loan equipment whilst mine was getting done
